Don't miss out on the latest and greatest new features in Construct 3
Notes
We now officially support Safari on macOS High Sierra! Safari 11 ships on this week's macOS update, so now you can also use Construct 3 in Safari on macOS. iOS 11 was also released last week and we've made a few much-needed updates to improve iOS support. Firstly logging in to your account on iOS previously crashed - it should work again now. Also the 'Add to home screen' option on iOS still launched Safari; it should now launch from the home screen in web app mode which hides Safari's UI and makes the side-swipe gestures easier to use.
We've also much improved the Layout View performance in both Firefox and Safari. We've managed to come up with a workaround to allow rendering to be much faster and smoother for these browsers. It's a little complicated though, so be on the lookout for any new bugs in the Layout View. The workaround should even help improve Chrome performance a bit, but the difference is great enough that we've now removed the warning about potentially poor performance in Firefox, and scrolling/zooming on iOS or macOS should be noticably better now.
Other than that - a big batch of bug fixes! Thank you for your patience lately, we are expecting things to stabilise soon and we are hoping to make our first Stable release of Construct 3 in the near future.
