  • I've already made it, but thank you for your help.

    I did this

    If ShotStrength <= 7000

    ShotPowerBar.MAXWidth*ShotStrength/ShotStrengthMAX

This way I always find the % of my max power and then I multiply it to the max of my width bar

  • On mouse click c2 detect the object that is on top in the Z order. So if its not working, try to send it to the top of all objects that u have on that location.

    Example:

    Layer 1

    Obj1

    Obj2

    Layer 2

    Obj3

    Obj4

    Layer 3 (Background)

    Obj5

    Obj6

If the object 1 and 3 is on top of each other, your click will get the object 1. If they are not, obviously you will be able to click on both.

  • While I'm pressing a button it keeps adding 15 every 0,0001 seconds to a variable XYZ. I want to match StrengthBar's Width to this value, but I need to do it in % since the Strength will have higher values almost all the time and this bar can't grow inifinitly.

To sum up, I need to take the strength value (variable) and make the StrengthBar grow without exceeding the value 209.821.

    Could some help me please?

  • Do it and you will realize

It changes speed's object instance only

  • Try to randomize the speed right before spawning the bullet...I think once created u can't change the speed I guess

    it's like

1º bullet - set XX speed > Spawn bullet

2 ºBullet - set YY speed > Spawn bullet

the random expression is "random(x,y)". X and Y are the range of numbers that u randomly get

  • It doesn't work with bullet behavior . Also I need to set the shot strength which work like this: every 1 second pressing the button adds 1 strength to my shot.

Currently I have no clue how to shoot something with physics and without bullet behavior managing the strength (Speed)

    Thanks in advance.

  • Focus on aspect ratio more than resolution.

If you search "android" in the tutorials you will find lots of help to start you.

    Thank you.

  • Since i'm alone in the subject of creating an indie game, I've gave up from keep working on my previously project focused in desktop that was too ambicious to my knowledge and time. So I've started working in another game, but this time my goal is a more simple concept and focused in android. The problem is that I don't know how to start. Which resolution should I choose? How can I test it in my smartphone? Anything crucial that I should know now?

I'm too desktop user so because of it I'm afraid to develop a miss concept project for mobile and waste time, which is really short for me.

    Sorry about any English mistake.

  • The idea is to complete the map with as much gold and experience you can get by defeating all the horde of enemies that will spawn. Each Map will have 3 levels of difficult. Completing in higher difficult will ensure you more gold per mob and experience. Also you earn a bonus at the end which will consider the time you spent and the mobs you killed.

The goal in the game is to unlock all the characters by completing the maps and farming gold and experience. To buy a Champion (I still need to think the name) will cost you experience and gold, but will only spend the gold.

There is a small chance to drop x20 gold and a token to unlock some of the champions that you don't have. If you drop a character token that you already have, you can convert it into gold.

Each Champion have a normal attack which you can use all the time. Also they have a normal skill and the ultimate. Both of them with cooldowns

Starting my first map. I still need to create 2 more background layers and a couple of decoration objects.

Someone have any tips in how to create good scenarios?

  • Try Construct 3

  • Thanks and sorry to disturb everyone. The problem was that I had no space in my driver where construct 2 is installed. That happened because I recorded some gameplays without noticing, which has hundreds of gigabytes lol
