  • Currently I don't have active plan so asking in the forum

    If I create and initialise banner ads on the 1st layout, will I have to do so every layout(or after creating it for 1st time it will remain, irrespective of the layout)

  • You can change viewport size in the project properties.

    I know this from day 1, but the issue is that there are various other things which are remained unchanged.

    Just an example:- Size of layout area still remains different

    And maybe there will be various other things which may be different (that's why I asked the question)

    When I created my game, initially I set viewport size as 720x1280. Now I want to change it to 720x1440.

    How can I do this? I want to change in such a way that it should "technically" look like I set 720x1440 in the beginning itself while creating a new project

    Just a random idea:- why don't you put ads on scirra arcade and make it like other gaming sites? I mean just launch a online html gaming site like poki,gamedistribution etc. And you already have scirra arcade.

    It would be win-win for both sides. Scirra will earn a good amount of money and this will go back in engine development. On developers side, there will be a safe and non-scammy option to upload games and earn money in web domain

  • My strategy is doing nothing. You can't force people to watch ads, they'll stop playing your game. "Free" players are still better than no players.

  • If an ad fails to load, display "Thank you for playing my game! that I poured my heart and soul into and the ad revenue I rely on to feed my 4 kids, put them through school, and support my mother in the hospital." instead.

    If you can't fill the space up with monetized ad, might as well advertise something else.

    There are many players who switch off the data while playing the game (regarding mobile store apps) in order to avoid ads. What is your strategy regarding such situations ? And if possible then also tell some ways to detect such activities
