  • Twice today this has happened.

I post something and then as soon as I am completely frustrated, and I post a question, I find what I am looking for.

I must be either getting inpatient or old (75). I think it must be that I am inpatient. I couldn't be getting old. I haven't grown up yet.

  • I have looked all over the screen and in the manual.

    I searched the forum.

I cannot find the Preview button they talk about in the manual and in the tutorial to see my Hero jumping up and down. I know I will need this information later.

Anyone know where it is? Mine seems to be missing.

  • As soon as my beard grows out a bit more. I will then look like Santa.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Thanks.

It took me several tries as I could not locate the original folder anywhere and then when I did it said to copy it into the same location as the Construct folder but that wouldn't open for me.

Anyway, I finally got it to work. It took me all day.

Tomorrow I am going to try to find the content that I downloaded. I found a folder but it seems to be mostly empty. I am hoping this all makes sense soon as I am getting tired.

I plan to print out the manual and make a book for myself in the morning. I would have done that today but this kept me busy.

I am in the Philippines and it is getting a bit late for me here.

    Thank you very much again,

    Ken

  • I purchased the personal license and then redeemed the code with my name and information.

How do I change the Trial edition I am using to one with a personal license.

If I try to use the upgrade block they try to sell me a new license.

I am lost as of now and know there is a way to do this. I just do not know how to do it.

    Thank You

  • I don't play games that much so I am slow and am just not good at playing them. The game worked fine for me.

  • I downloaded the Android version and had problems on the easy game.

    I am not a gamer.

I did leave a good review. I am sure this could be addictive.

  • I purchased Construct2 a few years back and am trying to put it back on my computer.

I went to my downloads and it was listed there with a redeem code. I used the redeem code and it said that it had already been used. I then went to the place they sent me and there were three options Upgrade, redeem and support, ( I think) I tried all of those and still had no option to activate the product.

How do I activate the program so I can make a game?

EDIT: Never mind. I read the manual and found out. Thanks for bearing with me.

  • My photo is on my hard drive and the thread wants a web address. Too bad.

  • I seem to be the old and the new. The new guy who is 73 years old.

My real name is Ken. I live with my family in the Philippines just outside Manila. I moved here when I retired from Saudi.

I am an American, born in Ohio.

My history with computers began in 1979 with the Apple computers. WE had several game sets through the years and my son ( at that time) became very good at the games. It was about all we had to do while in Kuwait and Tunisia.

He is married now and lives in Oklahoma.

I am interested in seeing what Construct 2 will do and may add it to my collection of game making programs. I have not really decided which one i like best so for now I am using the free edition until I make something a bit better than the first tutorial and understand what I am doing.

I am very impressed with the manual and the support forum so far. It is a lot more active than another competing program I have. I may just stay here.
