Contratulations to the winners and to all the participants as well, I saw really nice ideas that I would liked to see among the winners.

There is also an intermediate version in the scirra Arcade but I haven't been able to update it because it shows an error when I try to doit.

I liked it, I like physics games. Its simple but has a nice gameplay and is harder than it looks.

BTW, I did discover a bug where the ball was getting further and further away from aiming towards the middle, as it gets lower and lower, it eventually almost goes horizontal with the circle line. It then touches the bar and I can spin around and around with the ball never actually bouncing while I rack up lots of points.

New update V0.5

Hi fellows. Unfortunately I'm having troubles updating the game in the scirra store. But you can still play this new version of Spin Pong on Itch.io

This is what is new:

New cooler graphics for all the enemies. New star enemy. New final and imortal boss with beauty looking dangerous sequences. How much will you endure against it? New and improved difficulty progression, you will be able to play longer and smoother matches. Don't worry not too much longer. New super cool but discrete music beat visualizer. Improved text. Added new music loop. New circle area look, doesn't it feel like an old vinyl? Particules are nice huh? well we have some new particle effects. Changed the enemy death sound fx for a nicer one.

What would you like to see on the next update of Spin pong?

The file D:\\FromC\\V4Arcade\\games\\27499\icons\icon-32.png already exists.

Love it, very simple and easy to pick up and enjoy instantly. Who knew playing pong by yourself could be this fun. Really well done .

Ok guys, this is it - the submission period is over (ok, was over at midnight but I spend last day going through all your submissions! ).

I have just one thing to say - WOW!

You blew us away with your games. We started this competition with goal of receiving 10 games. WE GOT 90! That is huge and I want to thank every single one of you for taking your time and participating.

So what is next?

Your games will be evaluated by our judges and we announce TOP 6 + 4 honorable mentions on 11th of March (our site, our social networks and off course here).

In the meantime we will create a landing page with all the submitted games (if someone does not want his/her game shown, please PM me) in form of emulator links.

I hope you all had fun creating and playing.

We love it and hope do another one soon (I know we need to work on the emulator a little bit as well )
