  • Does the sound of the same game varies from PC to Phones/Tablets?

PC can have large speakers to hear enough but for phones it's so small and I guess it can be heard.

Another question, Does PC & Phones/Tablets works at the same sound type? (.wav or .ogg) or they need different sound?

  • More than 100,000 downloads. Good Game.

  • Google indie game reviews, go to these sites, find their contact.

Write them a nice short email asking if they'd like to review your game.

I see you on here a lot asking for all sorts of different advice. Which is great, I love your spirit and drive.

Here's my advice, especially for someone your age: keep making games. lots and lots of them.

Any successful artist will tell you, they made a hundred things that were terrible or that nobody cared about before they found their first real success.

    Just keep going!

    Just some random guy's thoughts...

Thanks, I will take into your advice from long time ago I gave up then I returned back to make games & I'm not going to give up now.

  • Is there any game review website interested in reviewing games made by indie developers?

since I wanted an expert to give me review on my game.

  • I agree with your dad about being wearing about linking cards. And you can't open a paypal account either.

You don't need a license. You need to hone your skills, you are 14 years old. Build games (lots of them) bad and good and learn from each experience. If you are serious about being a game developer, then start learning C# or C++, and you can learn these for free from microsoft(I'm currently doing it).

How to win dad's over isn't about showing numbers of what you can get. Dad's know life doesn't go according to plan. You need to study C#/C++/HTML5/CSS etc (all free on microsoft academy)

You need to use the free scirra license and make great little games.

Put your games all over the internet (Make sure it has your brand name - [NOT LightBulb Games (this is taken already by the way) your name, you as a person Naji ???], and get a domain name in your real name so that you can get an email which you will have for ever (can't be canceled no hotmail/gmail/webmail etc. And make sure that you can always be contacted via your games via email.

You are 14, you have 2 years to learn a language, and get your name all over the net. Then when you decide to take this up a notch, you have a following, and experience.

Thanks for the help. The problem is When I tried C# codes on an online compiler it give me error so I was frustrated after editing codes multiple times! Didn't know what I have done wrong. Plus I Searched internet & I found Lightbulb Crew & Broken Bulb Games, nothing to be found as lightbulb games studio expect me.

  • Hi, this is a bit long but very critical for me & my future. I came a thought that I would save money to get a license plus developer license for google play store. So technically I need a card (paypal , or Visa) but the problem it needs a bank account. So I have lots of thing to do & lots of decisions before I make a step forward into it. So I just want some of experienced and professional and expert game developers who know about marketing & selling:

1- Is Paypal a safe way to transfer money? Is anyone going to steal from it? or should I get a visa for my sake?

2- I don't have a bank account but can I make a card with my dads bank account & email? (That technically means in his name, he is the owner not me)

3- If I registered in Google playstore developer account that have a fee of 25$ , are they are going to outwit & take more? (my dad is hesitant about making me a card since he thinks they are people on the internet impostors & they are going to take large amount of money)

4- If I registered in Google playstore, and get C2 license and all then I made a 0.99 good app/game, is it guaranteed that I'm going to make money out of it? (let's stay minimum of 99$-299$ per app??) since I'm not going to work with effort for nothing after I bought almost everything!

5- If I did all the above, are you sure you can get benefit from it from your personal experience?

6- Well I'm a solo indie developer, which means lots of tense & work load on me, so is there is any chance for me to get money in googleplay store between many games & giant top developers companies? ( I feel nothing compared to them! )

This process is going to take lot of time for me since it requires good amount of money, and my dad isn't convinced of it. Sorry for those many questions but I need to know since I'm 14 & I'm too young to understand about selling & stuff. Plus I want to give dad evidence if there is positive sides of it & true. So please tell me the truth & only the truth from your personal experience.

Thanks in advance, & special thanks for any true clear answer.

  • Most players are looking for stunning graphics to be attracted, and you all know my graphics are not that great but better than before, at least I know the basics & Shadings! so anyway to get better in graphic design? I'm willing to learn since it is necessary & critical for Game Development.

Any ideas are welcomed! Thanks in advance

  • There is no magic number! Hype comes with people liking the idea and SHARING it.

No offense, but I'm pretty sure that your graphics are the reason you don't get the attention you would like to get.

Gamers are one of the Graphically most sophisticated audiences. Gameplay ideas don't really count in there eyes if they aren't visually supported:-)

Just my two Cents! Good luck with your game, as always mate!:-)

Still learning! I guess I'm improved, but it will take some time to get good enough, plus some people learns it in institutions & collages so it not that easy I guess.
