Odd. I tried "Physics: Rolling Platformer" with gravity=100 and it's vibrating like crazy.
Edit: it's tied to framerate. Changed from V-synced, and now it's steady.

a) move the direction code under On left click - that fixes the mouse following.
b) the delay is because it's "rotating", except you don't want rotation. Just set the rotation speed to 10000.
You need to save as a single file. You can't just send a caproj file.
File's locked.
Either only change the direction on click, or only change when not already moving.

Your OR looks odd. I'm not sure what you did, but it looks incorrect. Start over, add your two conditions first, then right-click the event (not conditions) and choose "Make OR block".
You can't mix other movement behaviours with physics. It has to be only physics.
