  • Decided to make it with text and added my own character in the game.

Looks nice and clean so far.

  • Added fade effects when changing the scene and some other stuff.

  • A sneak peak into the game.

  • Graphics are decent but what really draws me into adventure games is story like those simple graphic games in the AGS site that managed to bring me to tears. Can't wait to see what story you come up with! : )

I thought about it and will include a screen with text where a boy talks.

Most probably will do it that way.

    ----

This will be the soundtrack for the game.

  • This will be the title screen.

  • I get burned out doing any game for too long so I jump back and forth from game to game and one game gives me ideas for another. It think that is typical gamer ADD lol!

    Looks good so far.

    Thanks.

  • Looking good! Will it be an escape game or other puzzle?

I have done a few escape games but my graphics were not so good lol!

Thank you! It will be a hidden object game, just to find the letter. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

And I truly didn't expect the graphics to be this good since I call myself more of a programmer.

    ---

Didn't work those past days on the game cuz I felt my energy drained somehow.

I modified the fourth background cuz I didn't like it much. Maybe I improve it even more.

I finished the fifth and am very happy with the end result.

Also, I would call the game 20% done.

I still have to do welcome screen, UI and some other stuff.

Then I will start with the development.

  • The room.

  • Hopefully you are making these using layers for the different objects. I say that because with most point and click games you'll want to be able to interact with the objects. For example, open the cabinets, turn the lights on and off, run the water etc...

Thank you for mentioning that! I am using illustrator so no need for layers, I just group stuff.

Hey , looks great , do you have an example of what sort of riddles you will be using?

    No, right now not exactly.

I will learn from other games and then try to create my own stuff.

I don't know if it would be wise to make it super difficult or easy enough.

  • Worked on bathroom image. Most probably will add two more and start the development of the game.

  • is there a way to use the time from the device that the person is playing the game?

if the answer is yes, you can use the time to modify the image: day and night.

Ye, but looking to just make one type of background to tell the truth.

So I will go with current looks.

  • Second image.
