  • Are you talking about webfonts? If yes, then maybe your smartphone has no internet connection at that time.

    Even if you download the font on your machine, you won't have the desired effect because not any device will have that stored, so it will revert back to default.

    Phone is connected to data...that should be enough right? Yeah I just see a default font of some sort. I could've sworn at some point I had it right in a previous build because my screen shots I took from the phone awhile back have the font I want it to be....maybe something is odd on my device itself?

  • copy past the webfont files to www folder

    I checked the "www" folder and I see all 4 of the font files are located in that folder already. Tested on my phone again and the font is still not correct.

  • Working on my second game and I have a digital font that I really like and looks great in construct 2 on my PC but when I export from C2 and publish with IDK to my Samsung s5 it just has a cheesy default font and not the digital font I have included with the game.

    Any ideas on how I can get this font included with the install package some players can see the correct font on the device?

  • Think I got it. Found some more files on my old PC that I did not think needed to be copied for this exact project to work...but walaa...no errors now!

  • Just tried and I get the same error. Come to think of it I have moved projects to various PCs in the past without issue. Maybe I am missing some files I am not remembering to move. Here is my error.

  • Hello,

    I am moving a project that I have been working on for some time from one PC to another. In the end the file path on the new PC is not the exact same as old PC and I am getting errors locating files. The project wants "c:\users\userid\desktop\folder" but I have different userids on the new PC and I do not want to have a specific userID created just so I can work in Construct 2.

    Is there a way to change the file path outside of Construct 2 to get around this issue.

  • Still working away on this. The final boss level is almost completed. Been working on some fine tuning of mechanics with the help of several helpful forum dwellers - many thanks to Burvey, 99Instances2Go, alextro and briceybobo throughout the past few weeks.

  • Thanks for the suggestions. I havent messed with since Friday but will look at again today. The shield moves fine with the boss fine...but I just could not get it where I wanted it to be right of the bat so it just looks weird, to me. I'll try imagepoints as well.

  • I have a boss ship that moves left then after say 10 HPs moves back right and a shield object comes up. I can get the shield obj to come up fine and move with original obj with "set position to (boss1.x, boss1.y)."

    But with the above command the the boss and sheild just do not line up like i want(because they are different sizes and whatnot) and so I am trying to shift the shield by add/minus x/y as needed but to me it does not appear to be working.

    would you guys/gals use set position to (boss1.x, boss1.y+100) to shift the shield obj down 100 pixels from the center point of the boss1 obj? Or am I not understanding something?
