  • I actually applied to be an ID developer. They said they would interview me which much better than getting a no. I actually released and XBLIG 3 years ago so hopefully that helps me get into the program.

If I do get accepted I will try to do some testing to make C2 work for it.

  • It should be possible as you need to make your game in visual studio and the software on the XO is essentially windows 8. However, often times with consoles there is a stripped down version. At least that was the case for the XBOX 360. If you made a .NET game you had to deal with a compact .NET framework on the XBOX. What would happen is that your game would run on the computer but as soon as you deployed it to the XBOX errors would show up.

It's too early to tell. Once the ID SDKs are released we should get a better idea as to the full capabilities.

  • I just signed up for the developer program

  • This is the best news we could hear! I hope we have to go through visual studio to deploy to the Xbox.

  • Has anybody tried to put sports AI into their games. Let's for the moment take a look at american soccer or international football for a second.

I think it should be relatively easy. I think for the most part there is a lot of boolean variables that have to be used. Like teamAHasBall etc.

It shouldn't be to hard with pathfinding and pick nearest.

Does anybody have a good article or tutorial on the subject. Even if this tutorial is for some other engine?

  • LOL. Having C2 be available on the mac would be awesome.

  • If you make a game with "for iPhone" or "for iPad" and don't capitalize the p, then you can fail. It's actually pretty easy to fail.

  • That would be fantastic!

  • All I really want is the editor to run on the mac. :)

  • I was just messing around with wine and it ran the installer with wine and I managed to get it running

I tried to make a .app file with wine but it didn't work. If anybody knows more about wine perhaps this could work. There are a whole bunch of 'wine tricks' that might make it work.

    Thoughts?

  • This is awesome! Can't wait to have an OUYA export.
