    when closing construct and your project has not been saved before , construct asks for saving project, when clicking yes, then it gives error as there is no savefile

  • i have this, problem is, the character may only move at one position at a time otherwise it messes up the characteranimation, see i have the x positions disabled

  • you will need position mouse related to player and then use the" simulate 8direction" action

  • ah i maybe found another (part of the )answer, use the position of the mouse related to the player, like if mouseposition is smaller move up, i make example

  • yeah i see what you mean its gonna be a little tricky, essential what you need is some kind of pathfinding solution, or you could set a target point get the angle of playerposition to target, compare this to the closest angle of posible movement, set angle and then move forward and do that every so many seconds until target is reached... :) just thinking outloud here...

  • since two days i cant get my variable screen to pop up, its like it doesnt exist

    anymore, i tried uninstalling but it keeps the layout configuration, i think by resetting this it would maybe fix this otherwise i dont know what to do, is there a way of completly resetting this? deleting some files, resetting some registry keys or something? please help

  • i had the same issue where i think i could have some local value that acted as a global for that group, also searched for a while:) so i guess its not the way to go

  • i didnt sayed it was easy, this would take me to long to 'show you' you have multiple npc's these have to be compaired to eachother and to the player, there is still much to do, like surrounding borders so player/npc cant go way offroad, you are however already counting the waypoints per npc

    as for the npc crossing finish,

    for each npc

    on collision with startline

    npc.name = Mcdonalds    | add 1 to npc.currentlap

  • you should probably combine some checks, first of all you keep track of laps, if lap greater then , is ahead, then keep track of wich waypoint it crossed, if waypoint is > is ahead, en then maybe distance to next waypoint is smaller then,

    distance to next 50px is ahead of distance 60px

    edit: you better use distance is greater then and use the waypoints that already crossed

  • its not related to browser, but its not construct bug either, my own converter does it too, its probably because of the change in bitrate or quality i think, and always with m4a files, i look into it later

    is importing without converting something that will be added? for the moment i cant use it anyway and there probably others too, you must have windows 7, i do have all the needed encoders and use them via foobar2000(audioconverter)

  • no its the "instance variable" dialog from properties bar,

    when i click on the blue link add/edit it doesnt call the popup, i tried f4 doesnt do it
