  • i read that the best way to optimise collision checking is

    by excluding/filtering objects or by doing a every .. seconds and putting the filtering events on top before the collision check

    but collision checking is a trigger, so is always on top,

    should i put the collision checks in a subevent?

    im just confused, any tips, help?

  • when doing a show collision polys i see that every sprite, including sprites that will never use collisions, have a "best guess" poly on it,

    should that be like that? doesn't that take extra resources how small it may be?

    i see that there is disable collision property, should i do that for every object that doesn't need collision? it doesn't seem to change the polygon display

    i also rather have a rectangle poly by default, if its for ease of use for cases where you need "best guess" by default i think it should be in preferences or project settings

  • trance there are a lot of people, if there is an issue with cocoonjs, they get a black screen, so probably its the app that is corrupt

    1280x720 is indeed 16:9 > 1280/16*9=720

  • trance have you asked the appthwack team, why it shows only black screens? does it atleast work on one your device?

  • in photoshop you have almost for every numeric input, an extra slider, in unity i believe you can hold mouse down and slide nummers up and down.

    dont need dont use, but some would find it usefull

  • im a sucker for interface improvements so i would definetly like to see it,if possible, but there are some things to consider

    what with comma delimeted numbers?

    some things cant be scrolled

    some numbers have min-limit

    how much does it add-detract, > default could be 1 ofcourse

    not to say that these are big things, but could complicate things

    the example generates a random object from the family but checks if its not the previous one

    your probably looking for something like a string or array with the objects name in and once created remove it from that list, there should be some examples for it in forum, no time right now for example
