  • I can't seem to figure out how to write the event and action that will trigger after a tile movement has occurred.

Does anyone have any examples of this in action I can take a look at?

do you mean you want to move the tile background?

and have a way of triggering next movements?

Just explain game a bit and then i should be able to help.

Yea i have separate layouts for :

    Main menu,

    Paused screen,

    Results screen,

    And sometimes for different levels.

But hey one screen for all this, You gotta be clever.

  • you mean how to make it?

  • Hi,

I am making a game and about to export when I realise a strange thing happening.

Whilst on c3 preview every thing works perfectly e.g.sprite size, sprite positions, sprite movement etc.

However when I am on c3 publish game that's where every thing goes wrong.

Sprites are all the wrong size.Sprites are in different positions.Sprites aren't listening to the event sheets(I placed default controls to a sprite but it isn't listening to that and when I use arrow keys it triggers more than one sprite rather than one).

Here is a lot of examples:

    1)Sprite Position-

    i)Correct-

    ii)Incorrect-

    2)Sprite Size-

    i)Correct

    ii)Incorrect-

    3)Sprite Properties-

    i)Correct-

    ii)Incorrect-

There are many more problems but of coarse I can't show them all so I hope you have a general idea of my problem :)

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

I am trying to submit my game but there is an issue.

Whilst previewing my game on construct developer every thing works perfectly.

However after i upload my files to submit it on construct 3-the sprites are in wrong sizes and positions.

    In construct 3 dev preview:

    Submitting preview:

This happens everywhere on any website.

  • Hi

I'm testing out 3d objects + camera and I'm wondering how to literally "look up",like when I move the mouse up ill like the camera to change angle if u understand what i mean.

I know how to move camera x,y but not z.

Examples of what ill like my game to be like:

shellshockers-you can easily look in all directions by moving mouse

    thx

  • Hi

I have submitted my game on construct 3 arcade but however it doesn't let me play the game.

The game loads well but the problem is that the button that is on the start screen doesn't work

I don't know why the button doesn't work because it works whilst I am previewing it on construct 3(not on arcade)

I have enabled my button on the properties bar,yet it doesn't work.

Also I want to submit my game to other webs so I will be really happy if construct 3 developers help me.

The website in which I have submitted my game on construct 3 arcade is:

    construct.net/en/free-online-games/mice-hunt-68561/play

    Thanks in advance.

  • oosyrag thanks for the reply.

I see now that what u said was complete common sense.

But however will I still need 60 events for 60 questions?

bcz u need to put it into an event to trigger the increase in score weither it is right or wrong

anyways thx for your time and help
