If you guys looked a little more carefully, you would have seen that R0J0hound has created a new topic with new links to all his effects and addons.
It can be found here: https://www.construct.net/forum/extending-construct-2/addons-29/r0j0hound-plugin-list-135781
Many, many thanks for this, R0J0hound.
I realize this shouldn't have been necessary so it is very much appreciated, and hopefully users will agree.

If you change the link suffix to ?dl=1 then downloads are automatic from dropbox.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Why not just test it yourself?
Make backups, test, roll-back if required.
Probably take less than 5 minutes - quicker than waiting for an answer.
hey thanks for the reply do you have a demo as i've not updated to the latest version yet so not usable with what i'm running.
The lates stable release is here: https://www.scirra.com/construct2/releases/r259.
There should be no reason for you not to upgrade as this has all the latest bug fixes.
Using all capitals is shouting, and not welcome. There really is no need for such behavior. If you can't post politely, then please just don't post.
Tom has already said in numerous threads that links will be fixed as soon as possible.
Tom has stated many times that no links have been lost and will eventually be restored.
Please just wait a little while and hopefully Tom will get on top of this.

He is using Construct 2 and this is the C2 section, so your C3 example is not what he wants.
If C3 is anything like C2 then it was always the case that all images of any type needed to be fully uncompressed on import before they could be used on the canvas, so compressing before importing is a waste of time.
Compressing images is only of use at reducing the downloading time, not the rendering time.

Why are you deleting and re-adding the exact same post (now for the 4th time) ?
Not nearly enough information for us to help.
For a start: what tutorial are you referring to?
Screen shots and/or project posted here are usually the quickest way to get a good response.
R0j0hound is spot on.
Last time Tom mentioned PMs was here: https://www.construct.net/gb/forum/construct-3/general-discussion-7/welcome-to-the-new-forums-135061/page-5#forumPost938989.

PM's have now all been deleted, and the feature removed as announced a couple of weeks ago. This is largely due to GDPR and the fact we don't want to facilitate private conversations on this website anymore (you can do it elsewhere).
