  • I think THIS POST from Ashley answers your question.

Basically, as Ashley has/is always saying, use an invisible sprite with the relevant behavior and pin the animated character to it.

How can you add a video object when that plugin doesn't exist in the standard C2 setup, as far as I'm aware.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I have a license and I've just tried an html export and there was no advert for me.

Have you got the steam or normal license?

  • Hi.

There are many reasons for the lack of response, but asking in the correct section would help. It also the case that the same questions get asked over and over again, when a simple search would get you an answer much quicker.

HERE is a video plugin with explanation and example. If you still have questions, it would be better to post in the 'How do I' section.

You would be better posting such requests in the 'How do I' section.

That particular .capx is near the bottom of the first post, isn't it?

  • There is some very good documentation on the physics behavior, as well as a few good templates built-in to C2 that should answer all your questions.

The physics behavior will interact with other objects that have the same behavior, so a platform should have the physics behavior with the immoveable property set to yes.

BTW, as constantly mentioned by Ashley and the mods, you should wait up to 24 hours before bumping your own thread, and being obnoxious about not getting an immediate response is guaranteed to get you ignored very quickly.

This section is for reporting bugs in the Construct 2 software, and not the forum.

You should post forum bugs in the website section.

  • This section of the manual may be of use.

  • You have everything on the 'hud' layer.

Just unlock 'layer 0' and put all the baddies, player etc on there and it should be ok then.

  • This is always a bug in the display drivers of the pc.

A 5 year old pc with shader 1 support is just not good enough these days.

To keep up with new technology requires better equipment, unfortunately.

  • Does it crash opening other .capx files?

Have you got loads of tabs open in C2?

Have you checked the memory usage of your PC when opening C2 and this .capx?
