I generally don't install non-standard addons, but to test, I installed this one and tried to load the sample.capx.

I got an error message that said 'the project uses addons that are not installed'. It states that I need another of Rexx's addons called 'Timeline'. Is this the same for you? If so, just download from HERE: https://rexrainbow.github.io/C2RexDoc/plugins.md/rex_timeline.html. I did and installed in the 'Plugins' folder - NOT a Behaviour!

The sample will then work.

This is why I don't install non-standard addons - especially Rexxrainbow's - because they usually require even more addons to get the functionality you need.

You mean curves with the walls? It was only made with unrotated boxes in mind at the moment.

Updated it to work with rotated boxes. The cleanup stage to reduce the points doesn't work as well though.

One example I was playing with is point and click adventures. i.e. walking around a curved path. Your last update with rotated boxes almost covers that although it appears that nodes are only generated for the convex path and not concave aspect of the rotated boxes. I'll need to look at your code in a bit more.

Have you downloaded the sample.capx?

I bought something on the store and I can't redeem the code, I get the message "That redeem code has already been redeemed by .". Unfortunately, with Scirra being UK based, it is well past normal opening hours, I'm afraid. Also, today is a Bank Holiday so I doubt that anyone was even at work today.

This means it will likely be at least another 12 hours before they are likely to start work - assuming an 8 am start - and be able to deal with any query.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but I'm sure it will be dealt with when Tom and team are back tomorrow.

The astar search function returns a list of the uid's of the nodes making up the path. I implemented moving before here:

I think i came up with a cleaner way, so i updated the capx above in this topic, as well as added some more comments.

Works great with boxes, but not good with curves. I expect that the editor you mentioned might be useful when dealing with such things. Very interesting - need to play a bit more.

I installed plugins '' typing '' and '' timeline '', but when I run construct 2, I get this error message:

Unable to load plugin in 'C\users\Me\Construct2\exporters\html5\plugins\typing\': Found 'GetPluginSettings' global, but it is not a funcion

This plugin will not be available in the editor

Can you help me please ?
