No, it's only written to support XP and up. You might get it to work on 2k if you install all the things it requires, but I'm pretty sure there's some stuff it uses that's only in XP and up and not 2k (can't think off the top of my head right now). What error messages/problems do you get running on 2k?

Who uses 2k any more these days anyway?

If you're reusing the same small tiles over and over again, you'll save a lot of VRAM, which is usually more important than how fast it is. If you can use tiled backgrounds for large areas of repeated tiles, it'll be fast anyway (especially if they are a power-of-two size).

I'm yet to be convinced what the fuss over finite state machines is. A concrete example showing how useful a .cap designed this way would be would help persuade me. Right now I can't see any benefit over the usual event system.

Looks like the stats have gone haywire, the CPU wait time is over 600% beneath that, which is impossible. Must be a bug in the VRAM usage measurer, I wouldn't trust that number at all...

Separate bugs should have separate bug reports, but if you're pretty sure they all have the same root cause (ie. one fix will fix them all) then I guess you could put them all in one report. But if in doubt, make separate bugs.

My brother has the Emu 1820m, it's a great piece of kit, good enough to output to a high end hifi. I prefer USB equivalents so I can take it with my laptop too.

Is it not possible to read forum posts without signing up? It might discourage people from trying to read tutorials if they have to sign up first.

This is handy, but I guess we really need a central database on the site or offsite. I guess it'll do for now - maybe throw in some brief descriptions so readers can get a rough idea what each plugin does?
