Build your empire by tapping the screen, simple as that. Buy new buildings to improve your empire. Revolution to reset empire but keep gems and exp.

Build an empire of taps! Start with an empire of dirt and build a legendary tap empire! Each tap will earn you gold to improve your world. Can you build an empire large enough to claim the world?

Expect improvements over time and new features and better graphics. This is a very basic Idle-like game. I started out experimenting with the progress system and ended up with this. Will add computer support soon. Any feedback or comments are welcome.

I don't understand what people like about idle games. All I understand is that it will hurt your fingers in time. Please help me understand this trend.

  • Hello all!

Figured I'd just share the whole thing instead.

Dude - post some screenshots or a short video or giphy, this game is too awesome to miss. I almost ignored it, as I often do when people don't post visuals in their post for their game. Have you made a seperate topic as well?

I like a lot about this game - left a comment at the Arcade.

  • Hiya,

I don't own an Android phone, but this looks really professional. Well done!

I'd love to see some 'actual' gameplay though, the video just shows failures? I personally was under the impression the 'Player' was supposed to die, judging from the video.

That might be confusing to new visitors.

I'd try it out if I owned an Android device.

Again, would love to see the game in action, perhaps a second video?

Did you make the graphics yourself? They look superb.

Why not publish on the App store as well? Or do you want to see success on Google Play first?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • It looks professional, but I don't like the 'one sided' color schemes. To me (just me) it looks somewhat dull. More color and vibrance would stimulate the senses much more. Although I suppose you have your reasons for using these color schemes? I'm curious why!

  • Isn't this more or less Space Invaders? It's nothing new or fancy. Sorry don't mean to be rude.

  • Haha, cool not many of these games around I think.

I remember playing something similar back in the DOS days. I couldn't figure everything out at the age of 9 (especially if English isn't your primary language), but it was fun to experiment.

  • Haha. I love the 'cheesyness' of the game. Typical 90's era game. I mean it as a compliment of course.

  • So simple! That did the trick. I was aware of the existence of the condition, just didn't think about it.

    Thanks :)

  • Hello,

    I've got this currently:

Unfortunately I get a weird result. When I hit the 'Take Off' button for another time, sometimes the Jet created before the current one will change it's course to another WayPoint, and lose its way. I don't quite understand why this is happening, as it appears the instance variable 'WaypointID' and 'JetRoute' of the Jets is working normally.

    Anyone got any ideas?

One Jet works fine, but multiple ones give trouble.

  • Hello,

I was wondering, how do you guys test the performance of your game (browser playable)?

Do you have several (older) devices that you test your game on? Or do you use any online tools?

If so, which devices/tools do you use? I noticed some people recommend your games to be playable on even an iPad 1, but if you want high quality graphics then that's not feasible, it just won't run at all or extremely slow - possibly due to old browsers not supporting elements and outdated hardware.

So, for which devices do you guys build your games for, and how do you test performance?

    - R

  • OK.. so your code looks like it has more than I can comprehend. I'm not a very experienced programmer.

But if you change the character sprite to circle you got your basic movement.

Now just to make it move at an angle with 'gravity' as you described in your original post.

If you coded sample that yourself you're much more advanced than I am and then I'm pretty sure you're capable of getting the desired outcome!

  • I'm currently working on Everworld Island for Steam, FB Instant Games etc. :

With Construct 2, this game was not possible (too slow), but with Construct 3 Runtime, it's fast enough :)

I like the logo very much. It's excellent artwork. But I feel it doesn't reflect the game well enough since the game itself looks more.. pixelated. If you truly want to reflect the game and drive the right audience I would personally also pixelate the logo as much as your game is.

But that's just my opinion :)

    Best of luck..!
