This is a short game that was made for an assignment a while ago. I'm uploading it here to get more feedback. You play as an evil king who died a long time ago and join forces to take back what was once his. This game is inspired by the Bowser boss(es) in the original Super Mario Bros. game, where I wanted to conceptualize what it would be like to play as a villain in a retro game.

Instructions

Press Spacebar to skip to next dialogue or to skip the intro

Arrow keys to move (initally you can only move up and down. You can move freely much later)

Spacebar to do a normal attack

Z,X,C for special attacks (Hint: Each skill works against each enemy based on what they use. For example fighting magic with magic (lasers))

V to replenish MP

Backspace to pause the game
