    Unfortunately Construct Classic always did have some very bad glitches, which is why it was made redundant years ago.

    Losing work is is always a possibility if you don't make regular back-ups. You can't really blame anyone else for losing work.

    Only thing I can suggest is to upload your.cap and if any of the old CC regulars see this, they may be able to help, but it would be along shot, unfortunately.

  • The lack of a response could be because your query is just too generic a request so that users are unsure what it is you are asking precisely.

    It could also be that you are asking for too much.

  • I expect this would need Ashley's involvement. I can see the benefit, especially when using dual screens.

    The uistate.xml file is used to maintain the configuration settings, but there doesn't appear to be anything to support debug. This would be the preferred option I reckon.

    The other way would to have a debug (undocked) button, but this would require a UI change which I doubt Ashley has time for, due to C2 now just in maintenance mode.

    Sorry, Irina, to be of so little help here. Probably a good suggestion for C3, if it hasn't already been proposed.
