  • What you are stating doesn't make sense. What DuckfaceNinja has posted is exactly the correct way to do inner/outer loops.

If this isn't what you mean, try to explain a little clearer, maybe with a .capx or screenshots.

  • You need a licensed version in order to export in the correct way.

No one (I would hope) is going to tell you how to bypass the free version restrictions.

  • No because the export is obfuscated Javascript and Ashley has often stated that the export is made as difficult as can be to reverse engineer so that people can not do what you actually need.

  • You could try to separate game mechanics into separate Event Sheets and then just 'include event sheet'.

    Is that what you mean?

  • No. Take a look at the XML produced when saving as a project.

C2 is specifically designed to be an event driven system - there are more than enough code-based editor systems available.

  • Surely outdated threads such as these should be closed now.

Not deleted - there is generally useful info inside - but closed to prohibit needless necro-posting.

    Thoughts?

  • You can, however, drag and drop an animated gif onto the Layout and C2 will create all the individual frames in a single sprite instance for you.

  • If you installed r187 then you will alos need the hived off Node-webkit part here: https://www.scirra.com/node-webkit. Download works for me.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I would say that considering the last commit was nearly 3 years ago, this project, sadly ,is totally dead. Plus there are far too many issues to make it worthwhile trying to fix or tweak CC.

It is a great shame, as CC is what made me buy an early adopter license for C2 in the hope we would get something similar but less buggy. Unfortunately, the target is totally geared towards mobiles which I think are slowly killing gaming with their awful IAP and ad monetisation schemes.

Anyway, enough of the old man babbling

  • No, because the export is generally obfuscated javascript.

Did you not have the autosave /backups set up?

  • Maybe make use of Geolocation?

As newt has alluded to, there is a paragraph in the Terms and Conditions regarding the arcade, specifically:

[quote:t36a7gm4]Scirra.com as a service allows anyone to use the 'copy and paste' game code onto their own websites. This allows webmasters to show specific games on their website hosted by Scirra.com. Webmasters who take advantage of these service give total indemnity to Scirra Ltd for any damages, fees (including reasonable costs), consequences arising from using the embed code. People who use the embed code do so at their own risk, and fully understand that these games are provided with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER. People who take advantage of this service accept that they will never hold Scirra Ltd accountable for anything resulting from using our services.

So basically, anyone can have access to the games in the arcade.

  • The free video player Videolan VLC player has the facility to convert to various forms, including mp4 and webm.

    Select Media Convert/Save

Add file to convert, click Convert/Save

Select the relevant Profile - Webm, MP4 etc

    Set Destination and output filename

    Click Start to convert.

  • Oh yeah! Now I See... I didn't see... :] Anyway thank you very very much.

    Here it is promissed beer

Regardless of the fact that this forum is used by male, female and younger users, that image will always be inappropriate in my opinion.

Highly degrading to women. Not nice.

  • This section is for bugs in the C2 software itself. How does this apply?

If you think there is a problem with the download link, then you should post in the Website Issues section, and Tom will take a look.
