    some of the recent stuff I worked on since last time

    been practising my pixel art too

    I do all my own art for my games.

  • I was able to make this using the plugin

  • I got inspired by INK (on steam) and tried to replicate the level painting mechanic in the game. got it working with tilesets and sprites. the custom particles get destroyed on collision

    - Started as this at first

    - End result - added some dot dithering

    - Zooming in and Out

    Ropes 'n Rockets! -

    Made for Ludum Dare 34: Theme - "Two Buttons"

    Ropes In Rockets! is a two button arcade game where you have to combo-attach to multiple rockets in a small amount of time without getting hit or failing to throw your rope to another rocket

    Story -

    TLDR. - Little Purple wanted to reach for the sky.

    • Controls -

    Right Click / Tap - (Attached to a rocket) Detach from a rocket // (Falling) Rotate Rope

    Left Click / Double Tap - (Attached to a Rocket) Swing Left or Right // (Falling) Throw Rope to attach to a rocket!

    Cursor Position (Mouse/Last Tap) - to move the rockets left and right or side to swing to horizontally

  • Well, we need another Java programmer, but we need him/her now. How much time can you devote to learning?

    In the future, I could see us using C#/C++ at which point you will be teaching me, lol. But this current project runs on Java servlets.

    Sorry I can't help with this as I don't have the free time to something like this whilst in uni.

  • I really like how this turned out, and hope to work on something with your template in the future. I do have a few ideas.

    - Kill Focus Camera (the camera zooms in on the enemy OR player kill, showing it in slow motion)

    - Optional Limited 4/8 direction attack aiming (I'm one of those gamers strictly playing on consoles; mouse aim will never work for myself and many others)

    That's all I can think of without giving ideas specific to my own game mechanics I'd use in my game.

    is that all? shouldn't be too hard to implement.
