  • What examples are you referring to?

  • You did not mention that you right-clicked and added an "Include event sheet" into the Main sheet. Did you?

  • So is coding with unity as hard as it seems? Is playmaker any good for bridging the gap?

Playmaker is the most popular when it comes to visual scripting in Unity. But, if you want something that's more comparable to C2's event-like programming, in my opinion, GameFlow is probably your best bet. Plus, it's cheaper than Playmaker.

  • You can also do it with the Platform behavior. Just set the Deceleration to 0 when the player is on the ice.

Yeah, I have to agree with you. I think I'll wait on that until I see some positive testimonials or comments. 20 bucks isn't that bad if it does indeed work, but definitely won't purchase it until I see that it works in C3. However, I would prefer that he also offer it at Scirra's store.

Thanks for your input, but I'm already aware of these. Maybe I should have been more specific when I said "competition". Blurymind has consistently pointed out CTF and GM as being C2's competition. I'm just curious to know what he thinks those specific engines have, from a technical standpoint (ie., usability, features, etc.), that's better than C2.

But again, thanks for pointing those out.

Apart from one-time purchases and native-exporting to mobile, what does the "competition" have that's better at game development than C2?

    I'm just curious.

  • Fix your origin point in the "up" animation. It's way off.

  • Try adding the Browser > On resumed event.

Oops, celstrider beat me to it.

  • I use the official C2 plugin from appodeal's website.

I agree. This one works great.

They also give you detailed step-by-step instructions on setting it up.

  • Your Window Size is showing 854, 480. It should be 480, 854.

    Apologies for not clarifying earlier.

Btw, if you click the little + sign in front of Window Size, it will show you which is which.

  • It looks like you have your width and height values reversed. Switch them in your Project properties.

Also, make sure the Orientations is set to Portrait for good measure.

  • C3 gives you the choice to store your assets locally or in the cloud, as clearly stated in the Construct 3 Official Information FAQs.

Browser | Open URL in new window should work. Is your layout referencing the correct event sheet?

It's difficult to fix your problem without seeing a capx or a screenshot of your events or the export process.

  • It's in your Project Properties > Project Settings > Preview Effects > No.
