  • Just played it. Nice game. Flows well. The graphics look good and the music fits the genre.

The only comment I have is that there is definitely en element of luck to it, jumping to the next platform without always being able to see it, which can make it frustrating... but still playable.

PS- what did you use to make the music?

  • I'll have dust off my old iPad. Why not make it for Android?

  • I too created all my own art, game play, and will add sounds. I first started with the concept, then fine tuned the gameplay and controls using rough sketches for the character and obstacles, then cleaned up the artwork when I was close to finished the first few levels.

I've been using Trello to manage my game tasks and it's been working pretty well. I also use it in tandem with OneNote for drawings and more extensive notes. But Trello has been easy enough to use for task management and noting ideas when inspiration strikes, so you can keeping working on the task at hand. Also, re-sorting tasks is super easy. Try it out.

  • Thanks for checking it out

I plan on adding a timer that I can use as a scoreboard for achievements and leaderboard status. Still need to figure that out though.

  • Ball Walker is available for iOS in the App Store and Android in Google Play or Amazon!

[quote:2jq5dqfx]A physics based game that's all about balance, patience and maddening fun. Walk the ball across the finish line to win!

    Instructions:

    Press right to walk forward.

    Press left to walk backward.

    Don’t hit the ground.

Cross the finish line to win.

More levels, characters, sounds, and other good stuff coming soon… Feedback is welcomed.

  • Thanks for confirming Good to know I'm not the only one. I'll go look for a 3rd party Intel XDK plugin...

  • For anyone finding this thread looking how to update Version Code, check this thread:

    It's hiding in plain sight.

  • Got the build to work (must have been Intel server issue)...

I have the app running on my phone and am not seeing anything in GA. Real Time shows nothing.

suntemple can you confirm if this works if exported for Crosswalk via C2 and built with Intel XDK? I am thinking not.

  • Build fails with Intel XDK Crosswalk for me. twistcap, how did you get it work?

  • MadSpy I think Global Layer property setting is just what I need. Thank you.

  • Is it possible to copy a layer from one layout and paste (or replace) in another layout in the same project in C2?

  • Excellent! Looking forward to the next beta. Thanks Ashley.

  • Exactly. BUT this used to work in a previous version of Construct 2. Can't recall which version though. I hope someone can help.

  • Runs smooth on a Nexus 10.

I like the simple gameplay. Fun for any age.

Agree that extra lives would undermine the idea= one life to see how many points and coins you can get makes it more fun, IMO.

The dragging coins to the chest makes it more difficult and competitive. I like how you aren't just awarded the coins, there is risk in getting them.

The ability to disable ads by spending time in the game is a great idea.

    Good job.
