That's great to know you guys are being active on the forums.

I was holding off developing anything for mobile until the webGL was a reality, and I'm glad to see the initial feedback is positive, and that you guys are working hard on delivering fixes!

  • Fantastic example! :D

Pin this one down, Kyatric *shoots red flares*

  • Hey dude, did you manage to learn that!? :D

  • flemmig : You probably put the folder on the "plugins". It should be in the "behaviors" folder ;)

lunarray : This is amazing work! Perfect for my needs, and it's good to know we'll be having a more optimized and bug-free code! Seriously, this should be included in the official C2 bundle. And you should name it just Tween, as it isn't "lite" at all :D

BTW, I'm getting an error if I try to use the "create/initialize" action:

Uncaught reference error: tweened is not defined (on line 432)

  • wow, huge change there. Let me download and test it out!

    lunarray always delivers! :D

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I've tested this new version and it is fantastic. Spriter is really shaping up :D

  • Hi

Well, this was done way before we had C2 scaling properly on full screen mode. Things have changed a lot since I sent this example (It's been more than a year!), so I really don't know if that will work.

I guess the newer versions of construct already deal with the problems I tried to fix with this example, right everyone?

  • Nobody? :(

Javascript runtime is done, but Nate's not very keen on working on a C2 plug-in...

Is there anyone who can help? I know Ashley's swamped... Perhaps asking on this Trello ticket for support?? :D

  • I was away from C2 once again, trying to get back to it

This is an essential plugin and it helped me A LOT. Lunarray's done a great job!

  • Kinda off-topic, but I wanted to ask a few questions about CocoonJS and I was wondering how useful it would be if we had a section for "mobile exporting" or something like that in the Forums.

Usually we get a lot of users asking for stuff about Ludei (and Appmobi/Phonegap), or showing their experiments on exporting to their platform, but then it gets in the middle of the other "general" topics.

For example, I spent some time yesterday trying to figure out what Cocoon CAN'T do currently: I'm trying to use input box and custom fonts, and felt like it was too specific to ask on any of the current forums.

    Just a suggestion <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hello fellas!

We made an "assymetrical cooperative mashup of shoot'em'up and platform-management" game for the GGJ13!

Ever wondered what happens inside a shmup spaceship? You know, when you get damage, collect power ups, grab a bonus...? Well now you can see - and play inside it! :P

So, if you take the role of Moustaccio, you have to grab the Power-ups that are delivered to you, and feed them to the machines that'll give your giant robot boosts, or ammo for different weapons! Any damage the robot takes may destroy the machinery, so you'll have to use the repairs to fix them. If all 3 machines are busted, the game is over.

As Billy Robot, you'll have to destroy ships, avoid taking damage and collect whatever powerups appear on screen, so Moustaccio can provide you support.

We built this game for an arcade we are building, so the idea was to get 2 players working together and shouting at each other. I think we were very successful on this task :P

    Cheers!

  • ugh, it's gone... can someone send me the file so I can put it back online? <img src="smileys/smiley19.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • oops, sorry guys. I went through my dropbox folder and now it's gone.

I'll try to find it and post it again!

  • Sure, I understand the concept, it's just not working for my game. <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
