Thanks a lot! Exactly what I was looking for

Your images are not showing but I think I get the gist of it. I seriously never thought of using the method that you mentioned. This will make implementing the other ideas I have in mind much easier.

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

I'm having trouble figuring out how to make this work in Construct3. Basically I want an object to rotate around a point using arrow keys (left to rotate clockwise and vice versa). Please refer to the image below.

The green triangle moves along the blue ring with the red dot being the center point.

I did come across some old construct2 samples but clueless as to how I should implement them in C3. (Center.X and Center.Y doesn't exist in C3 anymore?)

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks!

  • Just tried the demo. Very nice!

  • I have no idea when the beam gates no longer functioning then I realized the infiltrate unit. I was hoping the gates is activated again in next wave but my hope wash away.

Good experience, please make the turret bullets bigger!

    Thanks for the feedback

  • I managed to solve the problem by exporting the project as Kongregate rather than HTML5. Since doing that, web fonts loaded without any issues.

  • Sorry for the late reply. Here it is

  • Hi guys,

I'm seriously in need of help here. I spend the whole day trying to get web fonts to work on other people's browsers but I just couldn't figure out the problem. It works fine on my own PC (probably because I had the font installed).

Asked 3 friends to load my game and all 3 are seeing default fonts.

I've tried both tutorials by pcfernandesjr and Przemek32767. None fixed the issue unfortunately

Here's a screenshot of my capx.

I tried replacing the url with just "stylesheet.css" but that didn't work either. (I used this method for my game few years back)

Any help is very much appreciated. For testing purposes, my game is currently being hosted on my own webserver and I'm using Construct2 R239.

Thanks! Will give it a try.

  • Hi Guys,

I have been searching around but couldn't find a definite answer. How do I create a platform that's random in length with a starting and ending image?

Base on my image above, I would like to start off with the blue triangle, create random amount of red squares and end it with a green triangle.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for your insights. Yeap, I'm currently looking into Corona especially now that they released a free version for small developers like us to use. It's definitely easier than learning Cocos2D.

Harsh truth but I guess I should start looking ahead instead of trying to make a game that runs on 3GS / iPhone 4.

By the way, do you use Skype? I would like to add you if it's ok. Since both of us are releasing games on the AppStore, we can like cross promote our games with each other.

Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.

Not sure if this is off-topic or against Scirra forum rules but do you think you could share with us the name of the games you have submitted to the AppStore that was compiled using Ejecta?

The reason I asked this is because I would like to see how well a game can run on an old phone like the iPhone 4.

When I compiled my game, it runs well on iPhone 5 but terribly on the iPhone 4, to the point that it's beyond playable. (below 30 FPS)

Personally, I would prefer to make web versions of my game using Construct 2 while using a proper programming language for developing on mobile platforms (which I'm learning) but that takes time. I'm hoping to just get something up that's playable on at least an iPhone 4. Currently my Apple dev is active but doing nothing *ouch*

  • 0plus1 sorry, I'm still relatively new to C2. How do I add in those line of codes?

szymek Cool. Thanks for the info, will check it out.

Mine is still good for another 6 months and I have only released one game so far (paid someone for the programming). So might as well try to make the most out of it :D
