  • Well, I wouldn't use spawner1, spawner2 etcetera, but just one spawner sprite..

    system pick random instance spawner - system create enemy at spawner.x, spawner.y

    i just really dunno what you mean...

    i only can use system-> create object

    nothing with instance

    Your code makes it possible to spawn at x=spawner1.x y=spawner3.y, so the result is as expected..

    how to change that then?

  • i also have some trouble with my random spawning system.

    im using this way but it spawns the enemies even in the middle of the layout and in the corners... dunno why

  • i know how to do it with a ROTATING player sprite but what if theres a static player sprite that does not rotate and rotating its image point where to spawn the bullet to chase the position where the cursor was when the left mouse button was clicked?

  • well its late and my head feels confused due to nerding through risen 3 and working on a game since yesterday night.

    so excuse this noobish question.

    i have a enemy and a score. the enemys MAX speed has to inrease by 10 when the score reached X.

    im using this :

    the result is a progressively growing max speed variable. i need a way to stop the engine looping this line-.

    i already posted some stuff on my twitter (@BurningcakeCom) but i decided to make a forum post to get some feedback too.

    So! What is Hekate? Hekate is my attempt to build a nice little pixel platformer with a story. (Story elements are turned OFF in this demo to avoid spoils stc.

    I already got some Mails to my email from guys asking where i got the assets. They are handcrafted , the graphics and sounds are 100% made in Construct and FL Studio.

    for the rain and thunder sounds i used a whitenoise and a bitcrusher.

    The other stuff was made using "Chipsounds" a VST i got sponsored by my friend Wrangler

    As I look at your links, I can tell that you should read up on "permalinks" (wordpress - dashboard > Settings).

    Doing so will get rid of the "page-id=111" and replace it with a proper page name/title.

    Also. You have a special page dedicated to inform visitors that all content on your site is subject to copyright????

    I want to admit that I didn't bother reading the small print because I don't believe that this project will take off as they never do.

    If you want to be successful, you need to start a quality repository of your own capx files and in time, others might maybe add to your collection.

    why sould i change my permalinks settings ? i dont see a reason.

    Well the "imprint" page is important for a website hosted in germany. I cant remove it.

  • And what about Scirra's Tutorial section "Capx Example" ?

    Doesn't your website be a double that we could do without ? Sure it provides "more" sorting, but in the end it's spreading the informations out to another website instead of keeping all the possible resources in a single spot, isn't it ?

    Well no. The scirra capx examples are for "EXAMPLES" and the website is for "Games" Source files.

    Its completely different and better organized in a table.

    thats my opinion, i wouldnt have started this if i havent thought about what you stated
