In the project properties set sampling to point.
I think you misunderstood. I don't want the sprite to rotate smoothly, I want it to pixellate when it rotated.
it's a effect, but it doesn't pixellate the sprite when it rotates
I know I can do this using a retro styled project, but I want certain objects in my game to move smoothly instead.

what is .varx? Should I make a instance variable?
I want to make my game pixel rounded but I want certain aspects to stay normal, such as camera and spritefonts.
Is there an effect or any plugins to achieve this?

I don't think you understand my question. I'm using a Retro styled game gph.is/2RTyHqx
I don't want the weird distortions to happen when zooming
can you give an example capx please?
I have a wave based game with no screen scrolling, and has a standard window size of 386, 306.
Every wave the screen becomes a little bit bigger, and the world borders expand. (As to fit more chaos)
Actually that's a great idea. I'll do the square sprite thing
It doesn't erase the tile when your cursor moves to a different tile
