Just over a month ago we launched our favourite features competition where you had to make YouTube videos showing off your favourite Construct 2 features!
We received over 30 entries which is an amazing result! It was a pleasure to watch such a wide range and variety of videos expressed in so many different ways and we truly recognised the effort so many of you have put into your entries.
Everyone who entered now has a coveted contender badge which comes with 50 rep bonus and a huge pat on the back for a job well done!
Without further ado, the results!
First Place
Rilem with his fantastic video showing off his favourite feature, layers!
Second Place
Jogosgratispro with this well produced and highly engaging video on physics in Construct 2!
Third Place
Velojet created a very informative video on his favourite feature, the Javascript SDK and how to extend Construct 2's capabilities!
And part two...
Honorable Mention
Thijsku wins an honourable mention with his video, we loved the way in which his favourite feature was presented as a story! Very well done, unfortunately you just missed out on the top 3 by just a squeak! You did however managed to win a recorder for your efforts!
Everyone else
We loved all the entries and it's unfortunate we can't give everyone prizes and the recognition they deserve for their hard work! These were difficult decisions to make, but there can only be 3 winners. We hope you're not too disappointed and we hopefully look forward to seeing more awesome videos from all of you in the near future!
Ok, ok, enough already! Who won the flying monkey?
The flying monkey was to be awarded to the entry with "the video with the best title". There were some great titles, and we decided that Apocalageddon: or "kill that damn horde" was the winner!. Congratulations Lyorae, a flying monkey is on it's way!
A big thank you
Again, a huge thank you to everyone that entered, we hope you enjoyed making your videos as much as we enjoyed watching them all!
All winners will be notified by PM shortly on how to claim their prizes. Click here to view all the entries.
