As many of you know, we recently ran for the first time an official competition. The theme was 'Space'. One thing to note is that people only had 2 weeks to make their games in Construct 2! This just goes to show how much can be achieved in such a short time using Construct 2. A full list of entries can be found here. (42 of them!)

Me and Ash were judging all the entries, and we were truly very impressed by the quality and variety of entries! Infact, we had about 4 times as many entries as we were estimating! It took a long time to try out all the games but we had a lot of fun doing so.

Without further ado, the winners are:

1st Place

MoonShield by Yann. Yann wins a $50 amazon voucher and 1 copy of the book.

Honourable Mention

Both of us absolutely loved Leparlon's entry, Paper Planets Have No Gravity. We really enjoyed the artwork and game play in it and it just missed out on the top 3 by a very small margin! Although it closely missed out on prizes it deserves and extra special mention!

If you did not win, do not despair just yet! We are running a users choice poll. Vote for your favourite game in each poll! The poll will close on the 3rd November to give everyone time to play the games. After the poll closes, the top 2 from each group will face off in a final poll. The winner of the final poll will be awarded a users choice trophy.

We thoroughly enjoyed running this competition, and thank everyone for entering. Winners will shortly be contacted for their prize delivery!
