Awesome thanks Ashley, yea makes sense. I think we have enough features that should allow us to create a 3d sphere now, i mean the mesh distortion editor is pretty much what we need + some math algorithm.
is it possible that in the future there will be a mapped 3d ball feature? that can rotate? i know ... the history i have questioning 2d to 3d projection mapping is from a long time ago, and along the years this was possible using different glsl effects or webgl... however seeing that you are developing the 3d object... i just wonder if it's possible to add a sphere object, i mean i guess we could do it using the mesh feature but would be i think a bit to cpu intensive... probably maybe?
nice, but at level 9 my fossette stops after 9 seconds and is not enough Milk and Choco on desktop version.
i remember people asking when C3 was launched
"will it do 3D?"
and ashley was like
"3D is possible but will require us to change the entire structure/engine, and im afraid 3D is not going to happen"
Couple of years later
Ashley "Construct has 3D layers and 3D sprites"
... i wonder what will happen in the next 2-5 years .... ^_^ can't wait
jack black hell yea ....
hah, wait, the game actually worked my bad... i was confused wasn't able to move at first... the game actually behaves pretty good and smooth 60fps nice... love the json did i said that? lol i keep crashing on trains muahaha
i did find something strange hahaha... your cars... the sprites are at angle of 20 degrees but the images are facing perfect 0 degrees.. might be just construct is so weird hahaha.. maybe the visual editor is having some problems.
uhm, something went wrong on my end, or it just not finished as i expected it? popup was blocked on preview of example, and the game was pretty heavy ... moving and i have plenty of resources... i think might need more optimization or a bit of different approach to loading the sprites... but other than that i love the json approach data you have there very nice.
nice simple yet freaking cool :D
aiming is a bit hard, but i like the flexibility thingie. nice game

Yesss now im subscribing back to Construct3 this are 3 updates worth to have the rest is Construct 2 with glitter..
so javascript in event sheet and scripting ability
timeline and timeline eases
and wait for previews actions to complete
honorable mentions action comments... im not to big of a fan of it cause will create issues probably but is good to have.
funny thing is just this week was thinking moving to phaser cause is js based and i wanted to make my games js entirely.... but after seeing this update and the amount of stuff that got improved well all i have to say good job and keep at it like this, this is the type of updates we want. thank you! You are awesome!
Next update please update the facebook instant games plugin(i know you are waiting for a stable release from facebook cause is a lot of work to maintain it if they keep changing it every 1 week...), there are tons of features needed in that one and we still lacking the most important ones.
Oh that sounds great.
what is an affiliate ? i mean how you get that status on the website? :D
that i don't know, it has to do with the flags they have to always be 1 or -1 if they are 0 they clamp to black.

I scour the Construct forums for users tutorial requests, and create small quick and simple tutorials using Construct's defaults features so anyone can use and apply them.
Thinking on games 24/7 is fun and waste of time and unproductive if we don't bring those game ideas to life. In this blog im bringing my game ideas to life and log their development process.
