Here it is for anyone who needs help!:
Here's the programming, I've tried a few things, of course, I can make it instantly go back up, but I'd like it to slowly go back up when the shift key isn't pressed or when the player isn't moving.
It goes back up when I release shift, but only once. Is there a way to make it go back up completely once I release shift?
It works when running upwards, but not when running left right or downwards.

Oh, that's actually really dope! So, with this, I presume anything you put under that ZOrder family will properly interact with the character?
i don'T really understand but i dont see why not, i made this and it works https://www.strawberrypunch.com/ and it sorts over a thousand objects per frame
Was this made with the variable method? And do you have an example of how this works visual-wise?
