  • akkthedev - I dunno. But the APK size was under 10MB (about 8MB), so it means, I doesn't use any APK expansion. But I've fixed it by adding the Crosswalk Webview plugin, finally, there's musics and sounds.

    - Add the Crosswalk Webview plugin by double-clicking "config.xml" inside the Solution Explorer and install it from the Plugins tab.

  • Hi rexrainbow, how can I detect player's progress using rex_firebase_savedata plugin?

    I want my game to check if the current slot is empty after authenticating with Facebook (on the loading screen, not loader layout). If the slot is empty, bring the player to the first run tutorial, otherwise go to the menu instead.

    But the Save Slot plugin doesn't seem to have some kind of action like "Check if slot empty" or something, so how can I implement the above technique?

    P/S: It seems that I can't download files from OneDrive as my internet connection is crappy (the file page loads but the Download button won't responds). Can you upload the samples on GitHub or somewhere else...

  • I used to publish my Android app on SlideME and Amazon in 2014. If my current game is complete, I really hope to publish my game to Google Play as well.

    As an off-topic statement and related to Google Play, most 2010s games on Google Play now integrating with Google Play Games API.

  • It happens again... Restarting isn't the solution...

    But I've found my problem and solved it, my missing sprites have the Exposure effect (for animation-less hovering effect, I used scaling instead...). I've set it to 0, probably that's the reason that the sprites are missing (probably my GPU just crazy...). I solved the invisible sprites by removing the effect as it isn't necessary...

    wertandrew - Do your sprites have effects?

    Yes, we should. We have VS2015's Cordova tools, but they're just crappy most of the times...

    If it wasn't as frustrating as the old Fusions (in case of per-frame events), I may getting this once it released...

    In the other words, GMS2 seems promising for me, just entered the beta and downloaded the beta, hope this was better than the old GameMakers.
