    I had a blast playing this game for the fact that it was Hard/Challenging and well put together!

    In my opinion we need more challenging games, whether that be indie or AAA titles. Developers throughout the year have no doubt made games that hold the players hands constantly throughout the entire game, to Appeal to Core & Casual gamers. While sadly the reward of exploring and figuring out how to beat or find a certain Boss, Level, Secrets is slowly fading in most games. Im not saying 100% but 99.9 lol Sorry for rant

    But really like the game! the art style is simple and fun, I will be playing again until i beat it lol.

    And congrats on your 4th game released with C2 can you link to the other 3?

  • I have a rope swing game i am working on, and i cannot figure out how to keep the player in the middle of the screen and have the buildings/background create on the speed the player is moving, to create the effect that you are actually moving, Like in a runner or other rope swing games.

    Any help would be really appreciated

  • Awesome! The first level was fun, i will be looking out for more levels!

    Had a few problems where he would not stay ducked down even when holding down arrow. I will check on my desktop to see maybe if it is my laptop keyboard or not!

  • I agree and personally think that 800x450 with letterbox scale is a good resolution to start. I also like using a full screen button to allow the game to scale up to full HD if the player wants. To keep images looking sharp at full HD I scale the sprite graphics down in the editor so that they don't become fuzzy when C2 scales them back up.

    Do you just have it set up like (On button object touched: -Set size of object to=Whatever Size) for each object that is being scaled?

    Would like to know how u do this and does it dip in frame rate when everything is scaled up? or are you just talking about you have done this on PC only?

  • Naji Say that game you want everyone to see becomes a big hit, what are you going to do then? you cant get revenue and then you might even get banned from Scirra for breaking their rules! The Personal license was the best thing i did after i worked with the free version for Months before i bought one to make sure it was what i wanted AND IT WAS lol Said it best! work on that game while earning money to but a personal license.

  • Whack thanks for helping. But the tutorial says I need to integrate the Leadbolt library. The zip file has a file named "libMopubLeadbolt.a". I have no idea how to integrate this library into my game. All other steps are achievable.

    thesecretweapon No all you have to do is make a Leadbolt account then go to the APP TAB "Left Side Of Screen" make a HTML5 ad on there it will then give you a URL for the ad you just made and in that URL delete ".JS"

    "Don't Worry" as you do not need to code this in anywhere!

    Download the iFrame plugin then ad the iFrame object to your game, Make the iFrame the same size as your ad you made on leadbolt and place it where you want the ad to be shown during gameplay, and now on the properties in Construct 2 paste the ad code into where it says URL in the iFrame properties in C2.

    When copied from leadbolt it will look like this below:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ad.leadboltmobile.net/show_app_ad.js?section_id=xxxxxxxxx"></script>

    Cut it down to look like this:

    http:// ad.leadboltmobile.net/show_app_ad.js?section_id=xxxxxxxxx

    After taking out the .JS it should look like this Below this is what you should copy and paste in the properties of iframe ON C2! :

    http:// ad.leadboltmobile.net/show_app_ad.section_id=xxxxxxxxx

    Note: The X's will obviously be replaced with the section id for your specific ad

    Also to note that leadbolt will not display ads during previewing through construct 2 so don't worry about it being broke if it says cannot display at this time, this is normal. if it does say 404 error in your iframe i would check to see if your ad URL is correct!

    Method has worked great for me. i have been talking to the support team, they are trying to integrate interstitial ads but for a alternative

    I am going to make a short tutorial video on this today or tomorrow! so i will let you know when it is up.

  • thesecretweapon no reason to buy a plugin for ads no disrespect to Cranberry, PM i will tell you how to implement Leadbolt HTML5 ads using iframe, i have made around $50 from it in like 2 weeks which is good considering not many people have played it! for Leadbolts Adwall clicks i was getting 3-4$! but just shoot me a PM anytime! also i am not trying to charge you since everything i will be telling you i discovered on the forums!

    Here is the first game i ever made using C2 it is on clayIO using leadbolt ads!

    Note though that leadbolt does not push many ads on (WEB), the one game i have on Google Play has GREAT ad fill rate and they are top notch ads nothing that looks spammy like it does on web, my game on google play always gets ads filled with big name titles on the play store, so that for sure helps people click on them!

  • jayderyu Yeah Ashley said in a thread or manual i cannot remember but the Folders you make in Construct 2 is just for organizing while making the game, On export the files are put into a root!

    QuaziGNRLnose Are you talking about how it changes the file name when you import files into C2? If so yeah that would be nice to have the original filename.
