  • when I tried to export and compile with crosswalk I get a white screen after the app builds on my tablet, I followed the tutorial to the letter cant understand what went wrong.

  • I exported and compiled the game using cocoonjs, the resulting debug apk I tested on my tablet.

    The game worked perfectly when i was testing it in construct 2, but now once it was compiled certain features don't work anymore such as:

    Collisions for when the player is supposed to pick up an item he just goes straight through.

    The highscore feature has also stopped working although i am not sure if this is a result of the above.

    The game screen seemed fine when testing on construct but when on the tablet the game screen is there but appears wrong due to there being a big missing section at the bottom of the screen, like the game hasn't adjusted to the tablet resolution properly.

    Any suggestions?

  • I think I need to explain this a bit better..

  • For some reason the collisions and highscore no longer works yet when I test in construct 2 works perfect?

    Also there is a big white block at the bottom of the screen, when I selected scale to fit.

  • when I go to upload a zip to cocoonjs it says that the limit 30mb but my folder is around 60mb, how can they expect the whole project to be below 30mb?

    Am I missing something or is this really their upload size?

    The term of sentence reads: You only have to provide a zip file with your source code to get your application running on iOS and Android. Remember that this file can't be larger than 30 MB

    Do they mean just the capx file?

  • <div class="self-ref">@StrangeyD</div> - can you run your game in debug mode to check the tiled background settings (X,Y,width, height, etc) for weird changes?

    Thank you very much I did as you said and found for some strange reason the background was dropping by a few pixels on the Y axis, I have managed to correct now thanks for your help!

  • I have a tiled background which works perfect when the game is running and when I click the restart button, but when I then go to a different layout which would be the main menu and click the start button it goes back to the level screen but the tiled background has a gap in it which for all my attempts I cannot seem to correct.

    I have the same events registered for the restart and start buttons so technically they should do the same thing.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
