    getting leadbolt ads working was really easy though

    thats what has been putting me off changing to crosswalk the lack of ads

    DC, how did you get your lead bolt ads to work? I've been trying to implement it for months and never got it to work. I tried the podes method without success. Also, I've been having problems with version numbers and cannot update to google play. Where in XDK do we change the version numbers?

    I have a game I'm trying to update with functions for my NPCs. The NPCs spawn from action and I want them to have a certain lifespan before automated destroy. I've setup an instance variable but I couldn't find the action to compare the variable so that it can be followed by a destroy action on a certain number. I was just wondering if someone can tell me if I'm doing this correctly or is there a step I missed?

  • I quit using CocoonJS for the moment and instead using Crosswalk to export to Android as iOS take 2 to 3 weeks for approval anyways and my game was targeted for festive launch. I'll look into the matter for iOS launch in later weeks to see why there was a problem in exporting to CocoonJS launcher. There wasn't any errors when debugging, which is why it puzzled me.

  • Hi. I've created my game and it works fine using testing mode in C2. But I tried exporting and publishing in CocoonJS and Crosswalk and both shows blank screens on start. I'm just wondering if there is a setting I've set wrong or something else. I've tried to load on the XDK and also the same. Blank screens, so it should be because of compatibility issues with my test device "Sony Xperia Z".

    Would someone be able to shed me some light?

  • I've tried running it under localhost without problems. So maybe it wouldn't be memory problems. And I am using the debug version of the APK. Had a look and the memory used for images is roughly 2.4MB, the collision count maxed out to me 6000 or so per sec.

  • I've recently tried to compile my game using CocoonJS since I used their ads function with AdMob, but seemed to have come across some problems. Firstly, after trying to compile it using the launcher method, the game loads black screen and nothing else. I've also tried to create an APK file that should be installed directly on my Android device, but get an "Application Not Installed" error when I try. Does anyone know why? Any bit of help would be greatful as I'm trying to launch before Easter which is in a week.

    I'm new to making HTML/Mobile games as well as being new to Construct 2. I've almost completed a simple game, but I'm stuck with a few things. One of them is to display the game's score on my Game Over layout. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks in advance!
