    caiorosisca, your aim code seemed to break out of the whole "spawning within a mirrored object" box I was programming myself into.

    shirokuma, your trigger once and less than 200 distance simplified, and the destroy armrifle and spawn when already mirrored will help also.

    I was creating variables for no reason, waiting for conditions and sub-conditions to be true counting on variables. Sometimes you just have to keep it simple as possible. Thanks again!

  • I came across the admob developer section where they may be able to automatically incorporate ads into your apk files, once they are online. Didn't get by the first step, because I don't have an app online yet.

  • I'm having some trouble where an object is rotating/mirroring and flipping, but the imagepoint within that object is not moving with the object.

    My enemy with a rocket launcher fires his rocket, but when he is mirrored, the rocket fires from the same imagepoint position, not with the mirror position.

    You can look at my overly complicated code, I tried disabling some code until I narrowed it down to where I think the problem lies...

    Either the armrocket>spawn code, or the system>create object code needs to be fixed.

    This is probably an easy fix, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks for the help.

  • We've been working for about two months on a basic side scrolling game, with character movement up and down and parallax in the background.

    Any thoughts and suggestions will be much appreciated.

    I was working on a game that had 2-3 levels of parallax that would freeze the game on Firefox at the beginning (1-2 seconds in), but not freeze on Chrome nor on the IP server mobile testing. Then after refreshing Firefox, the 2nd play would not freeze. I just assumed Firefox had HTML5 issues. Since yours is a Tap game, probably for mobile, have you tried setting up your C2 to test on your local IP server and use your mobile device to browse in?

  • I'm developing my first android game with C2, and setting up a Google Play page. They require 5 achievements minimum to publish. I have no idea what I'm doing. I assume I might have to export the html files with C2, then compile the APK, then hunt thru the code with Android SDK and type in sharing/achievement features with Google API.

  • Hello, I'm a new guy here. Spent the last week absorbing anything and everything I can on Construct2 tutorials both on Scirra and youtube. Coming from a graphics background, this program takes the burden away from complex programming, which is awesome.

    I made two games for the internet back in '04-'05 called Saved By Your Balls and the Bill Cosby Fun Game. Both tested my Flash programming skills, which were (and still are) limited. I'm sorta from the old-school Flash crowd that has been dying, entering a new world of HTML5, late!

    Time for me to catch up...
