  • Just checking in, is this plugin-in truly abandoned and should we consider it abandon ware if it is so?

  • Would anyone still happen to have all of the example capxs on hand? All the current links are dead.

  • > Oh dear, has this been abandoned? For what it has it it very impressive and although I can figure it all out on my own I'd rather not since I paid money for it.

He isn’t developing it anymore, but the Q3D manual should still be available. I am hoping someone does a threejs or babylonjs implementation for the new C3 runtime.

Indeed it is, but it is not complete and the examples no longer are available.

  • This is very useful plugin and I thank you for your efforts. When Can we expect a fully complete manual and the OP demo capx files to be working again?

  • I too am experiencing my projects not saving. The auto save function is working just fine and that is how I am accessing my projects. I merely rename the backup file to the regular file's name and continue from that. This is a very recent issue that has started approximately last week or so.

Thank Scirra for such a reliable autosave. I would have jsut died a long time ago with out it!

I believe you just need to snap the construction object to the grid while dragging by rounding the position to the nearest multiple of the grid square size.

Thank you for the information! This was driving me crazy!

  • By coincidence, there is just the wiki for what you're asking!

    https://github.com/rogerwang/node-webkit/wiki/Icons

I believe also Windows caches app icons. So if it doesn't "work" visually right away, then keep in mind if you forward the files off to a new computer it should reflect all your changes.

Edit: in other words, if you have a friend available, ship 'em your files to make sure they're to your liking.

    Thank you for the information.

  • A great utility. Thanks Mipey

There is another utiliity for windows called Real world icon editor.

    http://www.rw-designer.com/3D_icon_editor.php

It makes all of the icon sizes automatically for windows. It also allows you to poke the icons directly into the EXE files. This is AWESOME for people who use the Node Webkit exporter.

I have this ConvertIcon webpage bookmarked. It was nearly impossible for me to find a converter for my ChromeBook. Thanks again this will come in really handy <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" />

Thank you for sharing this, it is indeed very useful!

  • If you want EVERYTHING to rescale you can add the following to the event sheet that effects the levels in question:

"On start of layout > Set layout scale to *number you want to scale the layout to* "

  • I just uploaded a game and I was very pleased with the QA testing that they provide. Unfortunately, the Amazon packaging isn't allowing mY app to resize and I am currently preparing a patch so it'll work on more devices. But all in all, I think it is a great platform to sell.

here is a tutorial that Amazon provides. youtube.com/watch ... -6pOeDXbrg

  • Good day,

I believe I found out about Construct 2 via Steam but I can't be completely certain. I've always had a passion games as well as all things technical in nature which lead me down this path. To give you the best overall answer on what interests me would be how things work and art in general. So far, I've been Freelance game making for quite a few years but recently made it a higher priority. I desire to make things on my own or at least have more autonomy with what I am doing.

What I like most about Construct 2 is the flexibility on how one can apply coding and other technical workings. If anyone remembers the StarCraft Campaign Editor with it's locations and triggers method then you know how I approach projects with this program. I've always wanted to develop in that manner and so this program is indeed a welcome.
