Thanks for pointing that out - you're right. Didn't see that before but it's fixed now. When you generate a font, it will automatically download that image.

thanks for the feedback! I could not reproduce that empty file behavior using Firefox 24.0 or 25.0. Is it breaking on a specific font & color combination? I'm getting an image no matter which browser I use on OS X or Windows...

The PHP code behind the scenes creates a transparent png and outputs that only. Maybe you have an image blocker preventing it from showing?

The beginnings to an RPG. I'm using the Battlefield background and terrain elements for this desert level. The character is a public domain basic player sprite from opengameart.org. Sound files were all from the asset pack.

I'd really love to work with some artists to move this past a demo.

Two spells in this so far. An "eruption" spell (left mouse click) and a teleport spell (right mouse click). Use the WASD keys to move.

Hey guys, I made an online sprite font generation tool that I'm using to play around with fonts. If anyone else might be interested in something like this, feel free to use it: 10b.us/fontgen

It's pretty obvious how it's use, but just in case, you select a font name, RGB color combination and then submit. It creates a transparent png that you'll have to crop a bit depending on the font you choose.

I've got a few requests for some projects I'm working on, so I'd appreciate a pixel art set for any of these - take your pick:

1) a set of 6 candy & pastry pixel art for a puzzle game.

2) a set of isometric military vehicles to expand the set that comes with the art pack. specifically, i'd like 2 more sets (to make it 4 different colors), with an infantry unit, fighter, bomber, medic, bunker, missle turret and a few more random buildings & terrain elements.

If you could do any of those and tell me what type of attribution you'd require in return, I'd be really appreciative! :D

Hey guys/gals! I'm ionux and I've been a gamer and professional developer for 20 years now but just getting into game creation. I've mostly been working in web app development with PHP and desktop apps with C on Linux and .Net tools on Windows. I wrote a Pong clone a few years back to try my hand at it but it wasn't until I downloaded Construct 2 and built a pretty fun game in just a few hours that I realized how amazing this tool is. I mean, I literally followed the basic tutorial to get a working top-down shooter going and then went off on my own adding more effects, music and sound. Way too much fun! Made me feel excited again to be a programmer! Just purchased a Personal license!

Soooo, having said all of that, I've got some great ideas that I want to work on and would love to collaborate with some of the talented graphic artists here. I'm a registered Windows 8 Phone dev and would like to sell some games on their app store and, possibly, go from there into other app stores.

Well, long first post... sorry about that! Just super excited to be here and to work with you guys. The forums have already been a great help when I was looking up audio import procedures.
