  • I don't use the movement behaviour. The player move like in a boulder dash with the keyboard but i will probably also use touch for when it bill be on smartphone

    I want when the player make a wrong movement and touch something he shouldn't.

    The screen shake the player and make a movement back.

    I figure out how doing it.

    My problem is the player can continue to move before before the return to the previous position and it make bugs everything.

    Basically i need to unallowed the player to move.

    Is it possible?

    I wonder what is the best in my current situation.

    In the game when some type of sprites are clicked on, the change color. There are three differents colors.

    Should i, for each sprite make 3 versions of each colors.

    Or it will be more efficient to use the replace color effect?

    The replace color effect don't seems simple to use.

    It seems like construct 2 offers a lot of possibilitys of effect.

    But i don't find a complete documentation to know how works all the tools.

    Like how create effect on a timer (a variable in a text) make it changes color every second and increase near the end.

    Is a documentation like this exist somewhere?

    I'am following a french youtuber "la developpeuse du dimanche" who use construct to make a videogame.

    I saw in one video, a very nice timer with some effect.

    She is not making tutorial video, just a diary about the game creation.

    So i have no information how she did it but I wish to to the same.

    To describe it the timer was in different color with a light effect and shaking, increasing at some moment.

    I wonder if someone already make a tutorial about the general structure of a game.

    I'am not talking the game itself but more about the menu and the general organization.

    Like in candy crush, you get a new life every hour (or you can buy some), You can only go to another level after finishing the previous.

    You know all thoses stuff who are not part of the game but necessary.
