  • Because it's playing backwards you have to put 'repeat to' to the last frame of the sequence instead of 0

  • Oh you mean in the animation editor preview, maybe it doesn't work there.

  • Yes multiple objects can use the platform behaviour

  • Does not work meaning what? What is the expectation and what is it doing?

  • Can't tell much from the screenshots. If you can remove the plugin from the capx so we can open it.

  • > Depends what that object is used for, at the moment it doesn't do anything? A global layer is for something like a HUD that transitions between layouts and doesn't move, for this you don't need global objects but just put them on the layer. A global object is for something like the player that continues through each layout and retains its stats.

yes the instance state will not be preserved

    it resets after change layout

Just leave it as the default and it will reset. Or create it on start of layout.

  • Pick one of them only, global object or global layer.

  • You've made it difficult for yourself with how you set up all those animations by name on the same object. Really you should have a different object for each character, then the idle anim is called "idle" and attack anim is called "attack", it will be very easy.

To make sure you have the correct character you just need to spawn it at the start of the game maybe based on a variable set from the character select screen.

  • On any touch end you can set the animation back to idle, not only set the attack variable to false. You need events to revert back to an idle animation.

  • If you set the size to 0 then there would be no zeroes to push out, you can push the team to the front. If you want the zeroes back for some reason you can push 0 to the back of the array after the team.

  • The bit about instances you reference earlier is because many instances of say an apple would use the same one graphic loaded into memory. What you are proposing would be the same as many objects with one graphic, instead you have one object with many graphics. No difference I think, same number of graphics.
