  • it doesn't look good when you overlap any of the objects.

  • thanks Magistross for a very nice one-line solution!

    RegexReplace(str(Variable), "(\d)(?=(\d{3})+$)", "g", "$1,")

  • uncheck Default Controls in the 8dir properties

then decide which button you want to be the diagonal button.. i.e. 7-9-1-3 on the NumPad.

    EVENT: Keyboard on key down

ACTION: Simulate Pressing RIGHT, Simulate Pressing UP (this will be NorthEast diagonal)

  • I think OP is talking about having Child/Parent relationships between objects.

It would be interesting to be able to drag an object on the Project Bar and put it hierarchically "under" another object (indented). So that it would inherit its move properties etc.. similar to the functionality of rigging a 3D model with bones with various relationships etc...

EDIT: I think I saw it added here construct3.ideas.aha.io/ideas - not sure if that was you Blinky_RSA but if so maybe you should modify it to word it as 'Child/Parent' and frame it how many 3D programs utilize that functionality.

  • try getting a timestamp from the system each time you start the game, then calculate how much time has passed from there.

The game will not be "running in the background" you only need to make it seem like it is..

  • yeah base zero, always a thing.. got it, thanks..

  • thank you!

do you know if you need to make your own counter like that or is there a built-in way to reference the new entry you just pushed/popped/inserted into the array?

  • I'm just trying to add row of fields when you hit the space bar.

    drive.google.com/open

(run in debug mode to look at array data)

    :(

I don't understand the Push/Insert dialog box. Why does it only give an option to add 1 value? Shouldn't it offer to add a value for each of the fields? and when I select the Y axis, it also only offers one value to add..but not where?? I have 4 Ys! VERY CONFUSING..

  • actually I think I know. Set angle didn't work because Bullet's Set Angle probably doesn't happen at the "step" interval. Since normally setting an object's angle while having that checked would also set the AoM but in step mode it skips it. Another undocumented feature?

  • oh! so it was Angle of Motion? weird, not sure why Angle wouldn't work when you have Bullet.Set Angle on AND it totally works with OnCollision.

Also I like how you set position when it overlaps so it stays in the pipe.. nice touch!

    THANKS NetOne !

  • NetOne no, no bouncing..

Click a button, and watch it send a packet to a refuse via a pipe system.
