  • Ashley Thanks for the math :) I can't leave it running more than a minute without it doing anything or it crashes.

piranha305 I might have to give it a go and see how that works.

    Thank you both

  • I made a project and decided to add a 1 pixel by 1 pixel tilemap for maximum detail. The size of the layout is 6400 x 4800 or something huge like that. Obviously that takes a lot of CPU. I now cannot get into my project because it takes so long to open, that the page crashes and I have to reload it. I wish I could get into my project to delete the tilemap and try a different approach. Is there any way to get into my project or delete the tilemap from outside? I use Google Drive to save my projects.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Very cool! Keep it up!

  • I just got an idea, but I might also look at the tutorials. Anyway, thank you for your time.

  • That sounds like it would work, but how do I do the grid movement?

  • Hello,

I'm trying to make a game (https://www.coolmathgames.com/0-tiny-heist). I need help with the guards. They move in a grid, but only when you move. Any ideas how to accomplish that?

    Thank you.

  • Awesome! I hope you do!

  • Weirdest game ever. Anyway, great job. Keep it up!

  • Glad I could help!

  • What I always do at the beginning of a project, is make an objects bank layout. I put the first one of every object type in that layout. When objects are spawned, they are like the first one by default.

If you didn't do this, you will have to locate the first chicken (The debugger is best for this, just click on no. 0 of that object type. Then remember which object that is [possibly its UID]), and close the debugger. Locate that chicken and drag it out of the screen, and set the platform default controls disabled.

    I hope this helps you.

  • Thank you. I will see what I can do.

  • Ashley In the Github guidelines, you mentioned sharing a project:

    How to include a project

Please save a single-file Construct 3 project. These have the file extension .c3p

You can save a project like this by choosing Menu -> Project -> Save As -> Download a copy.

The .c3p file can be shared publicly on free file hosting services like Dropbox, OneDrive or Google Drive. Alternatively if you add the file to a zip, it can be attached to the GitHub issue. (GitHub will not accept a file ending in .c3p. Also, Construct 3 can still directly open projects from a zip if it contains a single .c3p file.)

How do you share it on Google Drive or Dropbox. I know many people use Dropbox to share their projects, but I don't know how. Can anybody help me?

    Thanks
