  • Awesome! Welcome to the community! I hope you create epic games with this program!

  • Just right click your layouts folder and add a layout to your project, add the event sheet that goes with it.Name them so you dont get confused.

  • Ashley that is where the magic is,If you and your team could make a program that actually made it easy to create 3D Games it would open up a whole other dimension for Scirra and Construct 2.

Just as many people love 3D.I wouldnt say add it to C2 but to create it as its own Program. Imagine C2 and C3D i would have them both. Business Version!

Construct 3D would be epic,The name alone sounds pretty promising,Just knowing that it would be set up in an intuitive way such as construct 2 when it comes to how the event system is structured.

I would buy an alpha version! I support everything Scirra stands for and IMHO i think alot of companies better lookout because Scirra is on the rise.

  • Try Construct 3

Epic, Thats exactly what i was looking to do. It seems like the Mouse.X/32 Mouse.Y/32 is what had me alittle lost.

I didnt know we needed to write the expression this way to get the result that you pulled off.

Very Cool, thanks for the example and the knowledge!

  • Hi everyone,

Im messing around with the tilemap feature and i cant seem to figure out how to destroy a tile at my Touch.X,Touch.Y

Is there a different way of doing this with TileMap?

  • Beaverlicious

Thank you both for trying this game out,I think i will take your feedback into consideration and add 2 control styles for the player to choose from.

It would be best to stay flexible and add the extra control scheme in,then to get negetive feedback because of poor design choices.

Thank you both for your feedback,Im really grateful to have awesome people to help me.

  • could you show how you made this happen? i really am trying to make a game involving sand.everything i come up with is to much for a computer to handle.

  • thank you for your feedback it means alot.

The reason I placed the touch controls in the game like so is because I would much rather the player have more control over the turret. One reason that lead me to this decision is I want people to be competietitive and not be hendered by any way due to lack of control of the turret. The leaderboards will play a big role.if it becomes an issue later I will make some changes but for now I think it will be fine.Thank you for trying this project it really means alot to get feedback.

  • Hi everyone!

Im looking to get some feedback on what i could do to make this game better.

So far im at a point where everything seems to be working out just fine but i feel like something could be improved.I would love to get everyones feedback.

Right now there is no official way to die/get game over and the powerups/shop is not coded yet,Im really looking to get some ideas on enemy movements or maybe some fresh ideas in general.

The game is a mix of Turret Defense/Shoot em up in style but im aiming to make it original.

Its made for mobile so you will need to click the fire button with your mouse but you rotate the turret with your Arrow keys.

https://db.tt/VsZxfiVl all feedback is welcome, thanks in advance to everyone on the community for your help!

  • jayderyu What do you think will be the best route to try and recreate a small prototype of this type of physics?

Ive never really heard of verlet particle physics.

The game i shown you is on mobile aswell so im guessing your statement about being super duper cheap is a fact!

I would love to know how to create verlet particle physics if possible in construct 2.Thank you for your reply aswell,im very grateful.

  • I was wondering if anyone out there on the forums is good with physics or anything like like this.

Im not really sure if physics are used here but it really looks like it.

I have a game right here that ive been trying to recreate a prototype off of. the game is http://www.thesandboxgame.com/

i was wondering if anyone has tried anything similar and was actually successful in there trials.Ive had no luck with frame rate so im guessing there has to be a trick involved if its actually possible .If anyone has any ideas i would love to hear them!

    Thanks everyone

  • https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/614/ar ... -inventory

    lennaert

This isnt adding up to me.I feel like im missing information.

I am using this method to create my inventory.

What im not seeing is what you are talking about within this tutorisl or any ca px ive seen.

it really shouldnt be this hard to create inventory systems.People who know nothing about coding are left

in the dark when it comes to arrays.I just need to figure out how to make my slots appear where I want them to.This Is maddness that I have spent over 2 months trying to get it down and I can honestly say that this is the only thing that stand between me and actually selling this game to the public.Could someone please try and break this down for me.Thanks guys and im sorry for being frustrated. Its not your guys fault.
