  • In relation to my previous post Allowed to post..? my assumption is this is ok so here is the software I was talking about!

    Packagesoft NPM2014

I use the PRO Version (?1) in conjunction with C2 to set some of the construct2 preferences automatically when in one of the offices. (DefaultPreviewBrowser, LANAddress, etc) so some of you might find it useful too?!

    Cheers

  • JFYI, I was testing this on IE11 yesterday with the same results

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • sx 33 wasn't that pre Windows 3.1?! :D

  • I'd like to understand this too!

Like I previously mentioned before math isn't my strong point but my assumptions normally get me a starting point :)

Therefore I'm assuming runtime constants are just "constants" in the mathematical context that there static values, i.e. they don't change?!

Not sure what the collapsing of expressions are maybe there the result values enumerated from the expression?!

In answer you your question tho CakeSpear yes the 64999966*one / 1000000 (one equalling 1) does seem to provide a more accurate result in 64.999966

  • ah I thought I as much!! Sorry I must have skipped over Rex's comments to use the official inbuilt plugin.

    Thanks

  • TBH I think your "relatively delicate system" is actually a "REEEALLY delicate system" what are you even planning to do with that level of accuracy?!

  • well i'm rubbish at math but its seems to be defaulting the Round expression?!

I've got you a bit closer 64.9999999996 but that has issues of its own, the global var number can't even handle beyond the 9 decminal places in the pi expression its seems to be rounding too?!

    <img src="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5480026/Capture.PNG" border="0" />

    im confused <img src="smileys/smiley11.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • LOL I get 65! does it round up then?!

  • What does this provide that C2 Functions doesn't?

  • Earliest machine I remember having was an Atari 2600 but over the years I've had loads; spectrum ZX 128k, master system, mega drive, mega CD, game gear, gameboy, NES, SNES, N64, xbox - 486 DX-2 66 :)

  • A friend of mine is having a January sale (?1) for software his team have developed.

It's not gaming related although I do actually use it to set the C2 preview address for depending what network I'm on..

I was going to post it up as a good deal - for a ?1 like (I think he's mad!) but thought I better check the rules first?!

  • Very generous Kenney, thank you
