  • I have a variable and when it loses a specific amount within a specific time I want to do something.

How do I check 'Variable loses X within X seconds'?

  • Looks like they are providing that then.

  • Can't really expect a company to change their business model because you feel you're privileged to get it for cheap, sorry for free. From what I understand this is a small team of developers giving a majority of us non programmers a chance to create something. The biggest complaint I've read is 'I'm a student or lack funds' - Yes that will happen from time to time when you want something, but don't have the means to obtain it. I don't see Sony or Nintendo lowering their prices on day one because of my financial status.

From the update today it seems most of the complaints have been addressed or looked into the biggest being [quote:2tws6hxs]In future we are also planning desktop builds of Construct 3 for Windows, Mac and Linux. These will work much like Construct 2 does now.

This just looks to be a PR mess - next time release the news, features, and then price.

Perhaps move all the complaint topics about having to pay for Construct 3 to a sub folder, so the one official post can be seen clearly.

  • Try Construct 3

  • The object should face left or right depending where the user clicks/touches.

    Object.X < Touch.X = Not Mirrored

    Object.X > Touch.X = Mirrored

The object is facing right (Not Mirrored) by default, but when the game is loaded the object faces left (Mirrored) and automatically reverts back to left even after facing right.

Using the Mouse function the code below works fine, but switching to the Touch function the error mentioned above happens.

    Object.X < Mouse.X = Not Mirrored

    Object.X > Mouse.X = Mirrored

Does anyone have insight as to why this happens? This is the first time I am trying to use the Touch function.

    Thank you,

    Drew

  • Ah I solved this. I pinned a Sprite to the object with the Physics Revolute Joint and then made it invisible. Now I can switch animations and mirror the pinned object.

  • I've connected two objects (Sprite1 and Sprite2) together using Physics Revolute Joint. When I try to switch animations or even mirror Sprite1 the base point where they connect breaks and are no longer visually connected.

My question is can you mirror or change animations of a sprite with Physics Revolute Joint applied?

  • Ah - Thank you. I've uploaded the correct files now.

Update - - I figured out how to add the combo attacks.
