  • Can anyone tell me if any of the links below work? Are you able to download the file from Dropbox? I tried posting a link in another thread and I was told it didn't work. It's been years since I tried to share a file and dropbox has changed since last I logged in. Maybe I have to upgrade?

    Also, was there ever a time you could preview a post in this forum and attach files to posts, or am I confusing this forum with another one?

  • Check the parallax setting on the layer. Or this can be caused by the lens effect.

    Sorry about that. Strange, because the link works even when not signed in. I'll just explain the example.

    I used the example from howtoconstructdemos.com and added an event to create sprite at the center of the scope upon left click. The parallax is 100% x 100% on both layers. Looks like the lens effect scales the layer below from the center. Really nice example for a magnifying glass, but maybe not a scope?

  • I tried it out just for fun, but the scope is off the more you move away from the center. How do you make it more accurate?
