  • Well, there is the "Audio analyser.capx" example bundled with C2 that you could use/tweak to your needs.

Yeah, Ive been taking a look at that. Im not sure how to pull the data I would need. I was thinking about having certain things triggered by certain sounds. (Like say, drums for example, trigger background changes etc)

  • Ok, thats a shame, but thank you!

  • Im looking at spicing up a game Ive made, and have had a few ideas. One of them is to use the background music to trigger events. Is there a way to do this in Construct 2? Checking for a certain frequency and then using that to trigger an event?

    Thanks for the help!

  • Windows Phone simply doesn't support point sampling. The upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 update should add support for it.

Oh, well that makes sense. Kind of a bummer, but good to know. Thanks a lot for your answer. I guess Ill have to look around to see when windows phone 8.1 comes out!

    Thanks again!

  • No one else has this issue?

  • Hi guys,

I've been working on a few projects and I have noticed a problem. Integer Scale doesn't seem to work on Windows phone. I use mostly small pixel sprites, and on iOS they look sharp and clear, same on the web browsers. But as soon as I load the game into windows phone, they are a blurry mess and still don't fill the screen. Are they settings I need to mess with inside of Visual Studio? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Adam

  • Try turning pixel rounding off and set sampling to point.

Thanks, but I already have it set that way. I think what happens is when pixel rounding is off it just kind of jumps to the next spot.. Because of the size of the sprites it makes it look jerky.

  • Hi, Im making a game that requires very small pixel art. Everything is working great when I turn pixel rounding off, But when I turn it on the players movements are extremely jerky. That is the only thing I change. Is there anyway to fix this? With out the rounding, it seems like my artwork gets a little blurry from time to time.
