  • Hi there, thank you for your attention

    I am having a little problem, when I have multiple objects one over another in the screen, if I click in one, the other (that is underneath) will be clicked too.

    When I have multiple objects in the same position how do I disable or prevent from clicking in the ones that is underneath? I would like to click just in the one that's on top.

    I appreciate any suggestions : )

  • randomly you got it! Very clever approach, did help xD

    Thank you very much, be blessed /\</p>

  • Hello there, tnx for your atention

    I have an object with Drag&Drop behavior, when I begin to Drag him it makes a sound, and when I Drop him it makes another sound;

    When I double-click him he rotates and make a third sound;

    Problem is, when I double-click the object c2 thinks I am starting to drag him, and the sounds get in the way and go together.

    How do I differentiate between drag and double-click the object, so I can double-click him without c2 thinks that I am draging?

    Tiny little problem that I can't figure out

    Thank you in advance

  • I saw some videos and tutorials, and I end up to use that technique where you create a "light" layer and basically you will see through that layer only, depending on the opacity, if the layer's opacity is 100% you wont see anything beside that layer at all.

    I'm just a beginner in C2 yet, so sorry if this sounds stupid. The ShadowLight object cast shadows but it does not look like much with a light, where you would adjust the brightness, the color and so on, like in other engines.

    There is a better way of doing it? And if you use light, what is your method? There is some plugin? Because what I am doing is working but at the same time it seems very wrong.

  • Hey keepee, I am searching for a way of doing this, get interested in your capx but he isn't there anymore, can you re-up or send to me pls?

  • That's addictive, would give a cool mobile if polished

  • In a top-down view

    I have a object with 8 directional movement that I am using as aim, so the player will always look for where this sprite is (this is for aiming with the gamepad only).

    The player has ScrollTo behavior, and is always in the center of the view. I would prevent the aim sprite to exit the viewport.

    Using the window width and height or the player location doesn't seens to fit, and I don't find anything about it, there's a way of doing it?

  • R0J0hound, can you re-upload this please? Not there anymore

  • Imagine the game you really want to make, then set it to be your 3rd (or 4th, or 5th...) game. This way you do some really easy games before it to get in the flow, publish then, learn with then, and you will have the XP to go to your 'real' game.

    This is what I've set to myself after getting some advice from experienced people. At first I was trying to make a game with mechanics that I had no idea how to make, and not even the internet. So I killed this project and started with a small one. Now I am finishing the second one, and now I know how to make that mechanics, it works.
