  • It's true that sponsors won't accept games that doesn't support fullscreen. I really think Scirra team should look into this.

Tom You made me greedy, Now I can't wait .. Any updates?

  • SecondDimension Well, I myself, I'm worried. Although I live in Egypt and I don't think there's laws or something to GameDev...

So I've cancelled my game "Candy Jump" because even if they're going to do something through internet, I don't want any troubles.

You can wait and see what they're going to decide in the end.. I think the two words "Saga" and "Candy" aren't going to get copyrighted (Personal opinion).

I think it's better to be in a registered company but being individual isn't bad (For copyrights) As they will try to make a deal/solution with you to work that out instead of suing you and stealing your game ideas like many others. (Again, Personal Opinion).

I don't think making money from your games is related to this.. But if you make money from your "Candy" game they might do something about that. (They're earning 600K+ daily from their "Candy" game.)

It'd be helpful to look in your Country's laws and other things about Trademark, Copyright and Game Dev. and if you know any lawyer, it'd be better to ask him.

If law got your back in this, You won't have to worry about your car/house. (More Personal Opinions)

All of the above are my personal opinion.

I hope I've answered your questions in a way or another.

Be careful from such things and you don't have to make a "Candy" game now... There's a lot of other ideas you can make games about till "King" remove the Copyright of "Candy".

  • Well epictigi and SecondDimension I want to warn you both that they're aiming for small developers (As I've seen on twitter.) So I've stopped working on my game and didn't publish it.

  • Thanks ramones it works perfectly!

I've tried to make the background higher but it didn't work.

  • Thanks ArcadEd it worked. However, I'm unsatisfied with the result of the player going right then he tries to go left it takes time... Is there's a way to fix that?

  • Hello,

I'm sorry for the strange title.

I'm making a space game and I'm using custom movement with the ship.

I've found that when the ship is using bound to layout and the player keeps holding left/right even when at the end of layout, the speed still increases ... So I've made something else to try but it didn't work either:

    <img src="http://i.imgur.com/f491PSJ.png" border="0" />

I want the speed to be zero so he can go to left right away not to wait till his speed decreases .....

    Thanks in adv.

  • Hello,

Was asking if C2 is going to support GamerSafe...

Or if anyone could make a plugin with it.

    However, here's some useful links:

    GamerSafe, What is it?

    GamerSafe website

    GamerSafe Doc.

  • Hey guys,

So .. I'm making a game about a man that wears jetpack. There'll be small gravity and his jetpack is turned on when space is pressed.

I don't know which one to use (Platform/Custom Movement) So I came to ask some experts.

    Cheers,
